Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments More than interesting. I have been an avid practitioner of it.

TPBM will be making risotto tonight.

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments I actually love pickles but the acid now hurts my teeth. Don't eat them as much just because of that.

TPBM hopes to make it a goal to read the newspaper whenever he/she can.

message 2403: by [deleted user] (new)

No, I'd rather read books.

TPBM likes to ride a bike.

message 2404: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Sounds like a funny film, but I have yet to see it.

TPBM mends their own cloths?

message 2405: by Zack (new)

Zack Eh, buttons and such ..maybe. Other than that I'm useless at sewing.

Belly, I catch leprechaun in the hood every halloween. Isn't Ice T in it?

TPBM can't wait to watch the new season of Arrested Development.

message 2406: by Guy (last edited May 30, 2013 08:08PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I would, but would likely try it anyway after some hesitation. I have come to understand that the purpose of being alive is to be something else's food, one way or the other. Gives a different slant on the phrase 'food for thought.'

@ Belly re: lucid dreaming. Oddly enough, I don't have much. A long time ago I kept an ink & paper dream journal when I was actively practicing lucid dreaming.

I just checked, and I do have two lucid dreaming posts linked to fushigis. See Guy's Lucid Blogs. I haven't looked for it in the blogosphere. There are books. The one I like is very old, but I think stands the test of time and has exercises that really work. It is Lucid Dreaming - The Power of Being Awake & Aware in Your Dreams by Stephen LaBerge.

TPBM will wake up inside their dream tonight and ask everyone they meet if this is a dream.

message 2407: by [deleted user] (new)

hmmm, hopefully, if that happens, it'll be interesting and I'll tell you all about it.

TPBM has an exciting/interesting event to attend on Saturday.

message 2408: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments The 'trick' is to remind yourself before you fall asleep to remember to wake up in the dream.

Nope. Saturday looks to be nice and boring.

TPBM likes the look and feel of bowler hats.

message 2409: by [deleted user] (new)

No, I'm a very plain person. I like putting embellishments on things like hats or bags or creating accessories (bracelets, etc) but I never use them, I give them away.

Really? I think I'll try that 'trick' tonight.

TPBM likes hiking.

message 2410: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do, but don't do it enough. Too busy working and writing, these days.

TPBM used to like to paraglide.

message 2411: by [deleted user] (new)

I haven't tried that yet, but I'd like to.

TPBM feels sleepy already.

message 2412: by Zack (new)

Zack I wish. My day(night) had just begun.

TPBM hates fake plants.

message 2413: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yup. Good night.

TPBM doesn't like being told that they snore when then sleep.

message 2414: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol!

@Guy - goodnight! I don't know if I snore, I haven't been told.

@Zack - Yes.

TPBM drinks coffee even at night.

message 2415: by Zack (new)

Zack Wait. You're only supposed to drink coffee in the morning?!? In other words, yes.

TPBM knows the feeling of frustration when trying to read the last chapter of a book and are constantly hounded by outside distractions?

message 2416: by [deleted user] (last edited May 30, 2013 11:55PM) (new)

Haha, no particular time for drinking coffee.

Yes, outside distractions are usually the kids who keep on asking questions.

TPBM watches Arrow.

message 2417: by Zack (last edited May 31, 2013 12:13AM) (new)

Zack No, never heard of it. Any good? Don't really do too much t.v.

I would be worried if your kids didn't ask questions.(and they should never stop asking them!)

And yes, I'm nocturnal because it's my only escape from the constant questioning, :)

TPBM has some fun activities planned for this weekend?

message 2418: by [deleted user] (new)

It's good, if you're a fan of DC Comics.

Kids, they ask questions, one after the other :)

Husband usually plans for the weekend, I have no idea what he's up to.

message 2419: by Zack (new)

Zack Might have to check that out.

TPBM can't sit in the front row of a movie theatre

message 2420: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments I have heard of Arrow. It looks literally too dark. Is it really good.

I have never sat in the front row. I could imagine there are no advantages to that one unless I want to see distorted images and lose the ability to move my neck afterwards.

TPBM might see a movie in the theaters this week/next week.

message 2421: by [deleted user] (new)

Sorry I forgot to say something after lol

I'm not sure if we're going to watch a movie anytime soon.

TPBM is craving for a pizza now.

message 2422: by Zack (last edited May 31, 2013 01:14AM) (new)

Zack Eh, maybe. though highly unlikely. I prefer to watch at home where I can yell at the screen, as much, and as loud, as I want. (and drink beer and eat my favorite candy ...and have popcorn with real butter)

TPBM drinks their coffee black.

message 2423: by Zack (last edited May 31, 2013 01:15AM) (new)

Zack Oh ....I could always go for a pizza

It happens Leslie.

message 2424: by [deleted user] (new)

Beer and candy? Really? :))

No, I don't know if I want to try that.

TPBM is good at drawing.

message 2425: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Ooh. I love to draw though I am doing that less often as I get older. I gave a drawing of a rabbit to a friend of mine recently. I am pretty decent at making those.

TPBM has had interest in doing calligraphy.

message 2426: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Why did somebody have to mention pizza? Canadian bacon and black olive, with extra cheese, sounds like heaven right now, and I’m just on my first cup of coffee.

TPBM likes to plan the day, make a list, then check off things as they get done.

message 2427: by [deleted user] (last edited May 31, 2013 02:31AM) (new)

Because I just had pizza a while ago hahahaha

actually no, I'm not good at planning, unless if it has something to do with the kids.

TPBM has tried tamales.

message 2428: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Oh, yes! In the summers, the tamale man used to come around every so often, and they were great! I haven’t thought of that in years.

When reading a story, TPBM is usually less interested in an ingenuiously worked out plot than in getting to know the characters and soaking up the settings.

message 2429: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm more interested with the plot than with the characters and settings..

TPBM is more of a listener than a talker.

message 2430: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments It depends on who I’m with.

TPBM reads for more for escape than for insight into the human condition.

message 2431: by [deleted user] (last edited May 31, 2013 03:23AM) (new)

No, reading has never been a form of escape for me. To have more insight of human condition? Probably but it depends on the book I'm reading.

TPBM functions well on little sleep.

message 2432: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. If I don’t get enough sleep, I’m just wiped out.

TPBM isn’t finding Leslie very easy to type, and wonders which she naturally finds more draining, having to socialize late into the night at parties, or too much solitude.

message 2433: by [deleted user] (last edited May 31, 2013 04:35AM) (new)

Should I answer this? Lol!

I'm not complicated (I'm not sure if that's what you mean). I don't find socializing draining, not with the company of friends but I don't do that often since most of them have flown to other parts of the world. I don't prefer 'too much' solitude. (I'm explaining too much again harhar)

TPBM is interested in studying human behavior.

message 2434: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Definitely, but I find psychology more interesting than sociology.

TPBM thinks it might be interesting to undergo hypnotic regression, to remember past lives.

message 2435: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm willing to undergo hypnosis but not for that purpose. I don't believe in past lives.

We did a research paper about hypnosis in college.

TPBM has watched all Land before time sequels.

message 2436: by M (last edited May 31, 2013 06:11AM) (new)

M | 11617 comments I vaguely remember a movie called The Land That Time Forgot, that was based on an old Edgar Rice Burroughs novel.

TPBM has read H. P. Lovecraft’s “The Shuttered Room.” (Apparently, it was actually written by August Derleth, but nobody’s ever heard of him.)

message 2437: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't. I know someone who does and he doesn't want us to touch any of it.

TPBM is trying to memorize a song to sing at a wedding.

message 2438: by Guy (last edited May 31, 2013 07:29AM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments LoL! No, and that is a good thing.

TPBM is very good at memorizing poems, but then forgetting them a few weeks later.

message 2439: by Zack (new)

Zack What's the point if having toys if you can't play with them? Pfff.

No, for done reason I can't remember lyrics to well, but I can mouth of a wicked guitar solo.

TPBM is off work today and is headed to the beach!

message 2440: by [deleted user] (last edited May 31, 2013 07:46AM) (new)

@ zack - for a toy collector, once you take a toy out of the box, it loses its value. It's for trading purposes, I think.

I got to memorize only one poem by Joyce Kilmer - Trees, because I used to see it everyday along the highway.

I'm not headed for the beach :)

TPBM prefers a dog for a pet than a fish.

message 2441: by Zack (new)

Zack I have both. Though the fish seems a bit more of a recluse at times.

Now that's just no fun at all. Trading toys, never to be played with. Someone needs to write a sad haiku.

TPBM gets sunburn easily.

message 2442: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Yes. I’m fair skinned and used to do a lot of sailing. Now I regularly go to have skin cancers frozen or cut out.

TPBM likes to rewrite hymns into bawdy songs.

message 2443: by [deleted user] (new)

No Lol!

TPBM is planning to run this weekend.

message 2444: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I don't know, but it's almost a certainty.

TPBM likes frozen custard.

message 2445: by [deleted user] (new)

I haven't tried that yet.

TPBM has watched Meet Joe Black.

message 2446: by Zack (new)

Zack I think so, years ago. Is it the one where a guy gets juggled by a couple of cars in the beginning?

TPBM is starving. Why does charcoal take so long to prepare?

message 2447: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Now I’m hungry for a steak and a baked potato and nice salad! What are you grilling, Zack?

TPBM likes steak well done.

message 2448: by Zack (new)

Zack Medium rare here. A sirloin, corn on the cob, zucchini, and some mushrooms and onions

TPBM find that although charcoal takes awhile to get going, it is well worth the wait.

message 2449: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Actually no, I much prefer my wood grill, now that takes a while.

TPBM likes Johnny Deep movies?

message 2450: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Sometimes but other times I find him almost as annoying as Will Ferrell who is in my opinion only good in small doses.

TPBM loves Marvel's The Avengers!
