message 2351: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. I don’t listen to music of any kind very often.

There are characters TPBM has invested so much time in developing that, to TPBM, those characters have come to seem almost like real people.

message 2352: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Oddly enough, that has become true, but only because I joined the WSS and popcorn. Hmmm. Which reminds me, I have some popcorn to write.
[@ Leslie, 3313; I rarely write without music playing, but it will be of almost any genre except jazz and country.]

TPBM has had their spouse, following the current de-cluttering-the-home-fad, throw out their stuff more than his/her own stuff.

message 2353: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, guilty your honor.

TPBM had, at least once, acted in a play.

message 2354: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes. Five times, in total, actually.

TPBM reads Shakespeare's plays before going to see productions of them.

message 2355: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't like reading plays. I've only seen Macbeth and Midsummer Night's Dream.

TPBM has tried writing a song?

message 2356: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I’ve written lots of songs. They’re at best derivative.

TPBM often has music playing in his/her mind.

message 2357: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes.

TPBM knows the perfect answer to the question 'What is music?'

message 2358: by [deleted user] (new)

No? It depends on someone's perception, I think. My answer would be, the best description of my emotions.

TPBM likes Walking Dead. (I don't!)

message 2359: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I've not knowingly tried walking dead. Well, dead tired on occasion, but not sure if that counts. (I haven't tried the show, either.)

TPBM has tried to learn a musical instrument, but didn't find it interesting enough to become accomplished at it.

message 2360: by Zack (new)

Zack Yes, stringed instruments for over 15 years. Learning and teaching.

TPBM has always wanted to start their own winery/brewery

message 2361: by [deleted user] (new)

@Guy-sorry I wasn't being specific, I was referring to the show lol!

No but I do want to see a winery.

TPBM likes tofu.

message 2362: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments It depends on the preparation, but generally yes.

TPBM prefers Italian food to Greek.

message 2363: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I haven’t had much experience with Greek food, but just the thought of Italian food makes my mouth water!

TPBM keeps reference books on hand, to flip through in spare moments.

message 2364: by [deleted user] (new)

No..I use Google :))

TPBM likes to dance.

message 2365: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do, but the world prefers that I don't.

TPBM finds it puzzling that more people are suspicious of the accuracy of the Wikipedia than they are of encyclopaedias.

message 2366: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. When it comes to writing reference material, credentials are everything. Anyone can contribute to Wikipedia. (That doesn’t keep me from using it frequently.)

TPBM is trying to decide what to have for lunch.

message 2367: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope, decision has already been made.

TPBM just finished painting a room in their home.

message 2368: by [deleted user] (new)

No.

TPBM looks forward to Monday.

message 2369: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Usually I do, but this Monday is Memorial Day. I’m looking forward to Tuesday.

TPBM still has laundry to do.

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Leslie wrote: "I haven't tried that too... :))

TPBM is a fan of Stephen King."

It's funny you mentioned King Leslie. This very week my house got the paper and in Parade Magazine it featured an article about an interview with the man of the macabre.

message 2371: by [deleted user] (new)

@CJ - a fushigi? :)

No, done with the laundry over the weekend, yey! :)

TPBM is not afraid of snakes.

message 2372: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No, they symbolize life and the acquisition of knowledge. Of course, I may have to re-think that, because the more I know, the more I am convinced of my ignorance.

TPBM is familiar with the Chinese horoscope and was born in the year of the rat.

message 2373: by [deleted user] (last edited May 26, 2013 04:32PM) (new)

I was born in the year of the rooster. Familiar, yes, my boss likes suggesting a variety of books to me. He gave me his copy of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. It has been in my possession for three years now and I'm still not yet halfway through with it.

TPBM has watched a cartoon/animated movie this week.

message 2374: by Guy (last edited May 26, 2013 05:01PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Zen in the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance has remained unread after three years! Leslie, Leslie, Leslie. I think I've read that book 5(?) times. Well, that may relate to you being a Rooster, who knows.

No, I haven't. I did the week previously. Brave, the animation in it blew me away as maybe the best I've seen to date.

TPBM will watch (did watch) the hilarious Sci-Fi series Warehouse 13 tonight.

message 2375: by [deleted user] (new)

Roosters are arrogant, standoffish, conceited and boastful-says the Chinese Horoscope harhar I forgot that the book was in my possession for the first two years. I'll finish it, one of these days :D

No. I didn't but might, let's see. Too many series, too little time to watch :)

TPBM has more than one email.

message 2376: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes, you are correct: too many shows, too little time.

Yes.

TPBM has more than 5 e.mails.

message 2377: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. I don’t use email much anymore. All I get is notices about the haiku thread. There’s a glitch in GR. In my settings, I have all notifications turned off, but there’s no way to turn off the notifications for that one thread.

TPBM doesn’t go to bed at nightfall.

message 2378: by [deleted user] (last edited May 26, 2013 06:53PM) (new)

[@3339: No, I only got 2]

No. The time I sleep depends what time the kids will go to bed.

TPBM likes Big Bang Theory (show)

message 2379: by Boku (new)

Boku Never heard of it.

message 2380: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Yes. A shirt with an airconditioner in it.

TPBM just woke up and wants double-tall breve mocha and a cheese danish and a blueberry scone.

message 2381: by [deleted user] (new)

No, I've been awake for 14 hours already. A cheese danish and a blueberry scone will do. Please hurry, thank you :)

TPBM will grill something later.

message 2382: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Even this early in the morning, a grilled-chicken sandwich sounds appetizing!

TPBM is trying to come up with an idea for a story for this week’s contest.

message 2383: by [deleted user] (new)

I already posted my story, M! yey! :D

TPBM will watch a parade later.

message 2384: by M (last edited May 27, 2013 04:46AM) (new)

M | 11617 comments I just read it. It’s rivetting!

No parades for M. Laundry and dishes.

TPBM enjoys writing stories that are Twilight-Zone-ish.

message 2385: by [deleted user] (last edited May 27, 2013 05:06AM) (new)

Thank you :) I have to take myself out of the dark, I was actually trembling while writing the story.

No, I don't. I only wanted to write love stories :))

TPBM knows how to cook spaghetti.

message 2386: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Not very well. The last time I made spaghetti, it took me all afternoon.

TPBM is interested in personality types.

message 2387: by Boku (new)

Boku Oh yes, very much so.

TPBM's #1 fan is a family pet.

message 2388: by [deleted user] (new)

message 2389: by Zack (new)

Zack Sometimes. I enjoy sudoku more.

TPBM has breakfast for dinner occasionally?

message 2390: by [deleted user] (new)

message 2391: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Almost anything that keeps children occupied is a stress reliever.

TPBM finds it hard to resist library book sales.

message 2392: by [deleted user] (new)

Kids are not that bad hahaha :P

Yes.

TPBM doesn't like shopping.

message 2393: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments True, though I can wander bookstores for hours.

TPBM finds people more interesting than things.

message 2394: by [deleted user] (last edited May 28, 2013 05:51PM) (new)

Yes, people are more diverse and amusing than things. I'd rather spend a day having a conversation with another than playing a computer game.

TPBM is craving for a chocolate chip cookies.

message 2395: by [deleted user] (new)

No.

TPBM likes to go backpacking.

message 2396: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Only if I don't have to carry the backpack!

TPBM loves to knit?

message 2397: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do, but don't do it. I'm too busy writing and working.

TPBM loves doing embroidery.

message 2398: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes haha I drank it, didn't see it inside the tumbler.

TPBM has no aversion to insects.

message 2399: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments I don't mind them just as long as they don't "bug" me. Sigh. That was terrible.

TPBM will this year try a different genre of book they never read before.

message 2400: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments CJ, that was clever! “I don’t mind insects as long as they don’t bug me” sounds like something W. C. Fields might have said.

Nothing new for me. Same old Frank Lloyd Wright, basic photography, Jungian psychology, and 1950’s beginner’s French.

TPBM thinks the idea of lucid dreaming is interesting.
