M | 11617 comments Lost in the gloom of
a thousand-pillar temple,
he seemed but a ghost,

at last darting from
room to carved, cavernous room,
from pillar to post.

TPBM has read the Bhagavad Gita.

message 1204: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Guy wrote: “TPBM has read the Bhagavad Gita.

Is that the same thing as “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vita”?

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4485 comments Singing: "Bhagavad Gita, baby!..."

TPBM likes the Winnie-the-Pooh books better than the animations.

message 1211: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes, undoubtedly I am. Will be hitting the sack pretty soon.

TPBM's favourite Pooh character is Piglet.

message 1212: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No, not at all. There aren't any really interesting movies on, and I don't surf video-on-demand to come across gems. Nor am I working on a story, although I am writing. And falling asleep at the keyboard.

TPBM will also having a good night's sleep. Good night.

message 1213: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do, but it never happens.

TPBM read something this morning that made them feel better about being human.

message 1214: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No, but I was glad to read, when I studied the nutrition facts on the side of my yogurt container, that there was no aspartame in it.

TPBM has never set up a 16mm projector.

message 1215: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments Uh. Yup. Why would you?

TPBM wants to relocate to Paris, on a permanent basis.

message 1217: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Not really, Ireland has always been my destination of choice.

TPBM has heard of Dr. Rushdoony?

message 1218: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments Nope.

TPBM is on Act 3 of Macbeth.

message 1219: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Nope, still trying to find it.

TPBM listens to Pandora?

message 1220: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments More often than you’d suspect, though I have a feeling it probably isn’t the same Pandora you’re thinking about.

TPBM has encountered some of the evils Pandora let loose when she opened the jar.

message 1221: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments Probably.

TPBM should be writing their NaNoWriMo novel instead of watching t.v. but is enjoying themselves too much.

message 1222: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Nope, I don't have NanoWriMo account, whatever that is :D

TPBM is making Tacos for dinner?

message 1223: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. I had to settle for drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

TPBM would rather be on the screen than in the audience.

message 1224: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Definitely

TPBM likes yogurt?

message 1225: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Yes! I like it dead quiet.

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Always.

TPBM is drinking tonight?

message 1227: by Ajay (new)

TPBM is good at math.

message 1228: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I have four sisters, so that has got to be at least true for anyone of them at any given time. And I am good at math. (Stole that from you Al!)

TPBM is having a hard time keeping their head from falling forward onto the keyboard.

message 1229: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Nope, I am hyped up.

TPBM is answering this tomorrow morning?

message 1230: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope, missed it the 'tomorrow morning' thing by, technically, 16 minutes.

TPBM would like to read Payback: Debt and the Shadow Side of Wealth but doesn't know it yet.

message 1231: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Haha, Guy, what are you still doing up? I thought I was the only one.

No actually, it sounds dreadfully boring.

TPBM is drinking something hot?

message 1232: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, it was, but now the remains of my tea is at best warm. (And it isn't boring at all!)

And now I am going to bed.

TPBM will be having blueberry muffins with their coffee at breakfast tomorrow.

message 1233: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Nope, waffles.

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) I don't know, whoever answers I suppose.

message 1236: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Yes. I was going to win the lottery. I forgot to buy a ticket, however.

TPBM is sitting at a table in a coffeehouse.

message 1237: by Kyra (new)

Kyra (Nikara) | 1221 comments No, but that sounds like a wonderful place to be.

TPBM is excited for the soccer tournament today!!!

message 1238: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Not really, being up for more than 22 hours always leaves me feeling like all food would be gross.

Does TPBM know anything about fixing dishwashers?

message 1239: by Kyra (new)

Kyra (Nikara) | 1221 comments Sorry. Mac is my forte.

TPBM can not fix dishwashers, but can assist anyone with an Apple Mac problem.

message 1240: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Hopefully no to the first as I do want to fix it, but sadly no to the second, I know nothing about computers.

TPBM knows it is Saturday?

message 1241: by Kyra (new)

TPBM has plans even though this is Saturday.

message 1244: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments Yup. Babysitting tonight.

TPBM has yet to write today.

message 1245: by Kyra (new)

Kyra (Nikara) | 1221 comments Yep! Always have to do that.

TPBM is furious at self. (Maybe it's because today was part one of TPBM's soccer tournament. And maybe this person was playing goalie. And maybe, just maybe, during THE LAST FIVE MINUTES OF THEIR GAME, some girl on the other team breaks past the defense. And, oh, I don't know... let's also say that TPBM SLIPPED IN THE MUD AT THE LAST SECOND!!!! AND LET THE BALL GO PAST HER!!!!!!! WHAT KIND OF A GOALIE IS TPBM, ANYWAYS??????!!!!!!!! SHAME ON YOU, TPBM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

message 1246: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments RotFL!

Yes, I do, but not as amazing as I'd like her to be. Otherwise, I wouldn't be writing silly TPBM things!

TPBM realizes that this is a truly silly game, but that that is its great appeal, and will continuing playing it despite their muse's attempts at getting something mindblowingly earthshatteringly important written.

message 1247: by Guy (last edited Nov 17, 2012 02:40PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Sadly, no. My closest sister is about 1200 miles and 3 time zones away.

Re dream: Absolutely! And it will give my muse more fodder to get my butt moving in the write direction, so to speak. (Okay, okay, very bad pun. I'll blame Pandora.)

TPBM watched Real Time with Bill Maher last night.

message 1248: by Kyra (new)

Kyra (Nikara) | 1221 comments (snort) I wish.

TPBM should really get some homework done.

message 1249: by Guy (last edited Nov 17, 2012 02:50PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Sigh, I've got enough blarney coming out of my keyboard. I don't need anymore from a coffee shop.

And yes. Which means that I am now going to finish it. (Sigh. So easily deluded!)

TPBM thinks that it is a sign of intellectual individualism to believe that it is better to catch flies with vinegar than honey.

message 1250: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments What? That Frank is equivalent to a fly or that he likes vinegar and has mistaken you for it!? LoL!

TPBM still thinks that they will get something done other than WSS games today.
