message 1251: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) I'm sure I would if I shopped there, JoAnnes does it to me all the time.

TPBM likes to make fun of Twilight?

message 1252: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments LoL! Hmmm. Have I been unconsciously giving off tranny vibes?! Yikes, it's time to pile on the Old Spice or something!

In a way I do, but I have watched it so little that my making fun of it is not really worth mentioning.

TPBM secretly watches at least one Housewives reality show in order to be able to mock the people who watch them.

message 1253: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments My muse has the blues
only a new pair of shoes
can quickly diffuse.

TPBM is reading a murder mystery.

message 1254: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Sure why not.

TPBM has big plans for tomorrow?

message 1255: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Yes! I’m going up to the clinic, where I can play on high-speed Internet.

TPMB is dreaming of Starbuck’s, of coffee and a breakfast muffin at a cozy table.

message 1256: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) No.

TPBM is stalking the game threads?

message 1257: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Who, me?

TPBM has
a new strategem, and it
involves getting slim.

message 1258: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do indeed yes,
but now am stuck at wishing
it would just let go.

TPBM has been busy all do with food and holiday prep and now is looking forward to a long warm sudsy bath.

message 1259: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Let me count the ways!

TPBM has a romantic evening on the menu.

message 1260: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Getting run over by a mentally ill bus would feel bad. Actually, in a way, yes.

TPBM can smell ham and cloves cooking!

message 1261: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Ham and cloves sounds nice!

TPBM stocked up on chocolate-covered espresso beans.

message 1262: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments True, but I am becoming better at the more I practice it.

TPBM will not be reading this TPBM until tomorrow.

message 1263: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, today hasn't arrived yet for me, but I have an alarm set for 5am to start another week of work.

And now I am going to bed. Night!

TPBM was disappointed that Bieber won best artist at the AMA.

message 1264: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) I don't follow music so I didn't even know, now that I do......yes, yes I am.

TPBM hasn't slept in 48 hrs?

message 1265: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Actually, I got 6 hours last night. Not quite enough, but what I seem to get more often than not.

TPBM is already on their 3rd cup of coffee.

message 1266: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Second.

TPBM wishes there weren’t so many holidays.

message 1267: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Actually, that is true in part; I like them as an excuse to take time from work, but generally not for what they are celebrating.

TPBM baked blueberry scones yesterday to have with their breakfast coffee today.

message 1268: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I wish!

TPBM finds that with age comes greater uncertainty.

message 1269: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Define awful. Mine began with knocking a can of ice tea out of my fridge @ 5:15 am and having ice tea splash across the kitchen floor and in the fridge.

So, after that the day can only look up.

TPBM is laughing at the thought of Guy crawling around the kitchen in his pajamas @ 5:30 in the morning cleaning the kitchen floor and making himself late for work. And feeling a little guilty at the human reality of schadenfreude.

message 1270: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I have a record album of Schadenfreude. Isn’t she the Persion queen who survived by telling stories?

How horrible about the spilled iced tea!

TPBM like pajamas starched and ironed.

message 1271: by Ajay (new)

Ajay (ajay_n) | 1138 comments Haha, nope. It's early morning here. May be I can have a date with these lovely chirping birds. Lol.

TPBM is in love :)

message 1272: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) nope, unless you count a small crush on Jeremy Renner.

TPBM is listening to country music?

message 1273: by Ajay (new)

Ajay (ajay_n) | 1138 comments Yup. I always look forward to anything that involves food.

TPBM is an awesome cook. If yes, please send me some recipes :)

message 1274: by Guy (last edited Nov 19, 2012 04:22PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, I am not giggling, but I was looking forward to supper. Alas, dinner is delayed. The hot water in our condo doesn't work right now, and the repair guy who was here fixing something earlier has left and is on another job.

@ M, you mean, of course, Scheherazade. What a beautiful piece of music!

TPBM is looking forward to having a hot both tonight after a long and stressful day.

message 1275: by Kyra (new)

Kyra (Nikara) | 1221 comments Not so much, though a bath does sound pretty good...

TPBM finds herself/himself somewhat depressed that today was not as awesome as yesterday.

message 1276: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments Nope. Missed that.

TPBM has written two thousands words today but needs to write at least another thousand before they go to bed.

message 1277: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, I do like it, although I'd not heard of it until now. But it didn't shake my world.

On the other hand, and in the key of A, TPBM has a hankering for some Bargain Shop Panties.

message 1278: by Guy (last edited Nov 19, 2012 09:17PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Does matrimony cake count? (I could direct anyone yearning for Fig Newtons to my other piece of writing, called 'Newton's Figs'.)

LoL! Al, it is indeed a song. I've linked it to a live performance that is very funny.

TPBM is about to make themselves and their S.O. some freshly brewed tea to go along with his or her Fig Newtons.

message 1279: by Guy (last edited Nov 19, 2012 09:39PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, given that they were plastic disguised as a food-like substance, I imagine archaeologists in the future unearthing them to great consternation and bemusement.

TPBM would like their feet massaged tonight after a long day.

message 1280: by Christa VG (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Yes actually, "Demolition Man" is amazing.

TPBM watched Burn Notice?

message 1281: by Guy (last edited Nov 19, 2012 10:05PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes, it told me that Ajay had commented here 10 minutes ago, but it didn't appear or the notification was false.

TPBM thinks that The Philadelphia Story with Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart is one of the top 20 movies of the last century.

message 1282: by Guy (last edited Nov 19, 2012 10:09PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Al, I have no idea why you haven't seen The Philadelphia Story! Yikes, that's even worse than saying you haven't seen The Thin Man or Bringing Up Baby!

In a sense I am. I've been piddling away my writing time on small games and things, but the 'real' writing has been just about non-existent. (My blog still 3/4 done, a dream analysis started, etc.)

TPBM has reversed their opinion on at least one movie, going from being very disappointed in it on the first viewing, to delighting in it later.

Good night Al! I'm heading to bed soon, too.

message 1283: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Somebody asked Rimsky-Korsakov, “Is that scheyourazade?” He answered indignantly, “No! It’s scheherazade.”

TPBM likes to study Latin when having the first cup of coffee, early in the morning.

message 1284: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Actually, that is true! Although I haven't done it in a while. Hmmmm. Maybe it's time I bring my Latin translation of Winnie the Pooh into the office. LoL.

TPBM etiam habet translationem Latinam Winnie the Pooh in eorum library.

message 1285: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments No. I used to have a copy of Maria Poppina, though!

TPBM has a travel mug, for taking coffee to work.

message 1286: by Ajay (new)

Ajay (ajay_n) | 1138 comments Nope. Mainly to avoid becoming lazier, I prefer to walk upto the coffee dispenser for my many cups of coffee during work hours.

TPBM loves mountaineering but is unable to spare any time for the same.

message 1287: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments Never done it. But I have hate anything having to do with hiking so yeah...

TPBM is listening to Florence + the Machine.

Sorry I posted it the same moment Guy did, so I delete it :D

Nope, some music a friend lent to me.

TPBM feet are killing them?

message 1290: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Christa, what happened to your lovely photo? Now, whenever one of your posts comes up, I see a guy who looks as though he’s getting ready to shoot a bunch of nonconformists.

message 1291: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Well, my right heal is annoying me, but death is not immanent at this time.

TPBM is puzzling over a bad translation of The Tao Te Ching as part of doing some obscure research.

message 1292: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Hi Al! Actually no, although my wife has cranked up some rap and am having second thoughts.

TPBM has only a few pages left on the book they are reading, but finding it hard to finish it.

message 1293: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments Nope, not stressed thank goodness.

TPBM thinks it should be later than 6:38 p.m.

message 1294: by Christa VG (last edited Nov 21, 2012 08:03PM) (new)

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) M wrote: "Christa, what happened to your lovely photo? Now, whenever one of your posts comes up, I see a guy who looks as though he’s getting ready to shoot a bunch of nonconformists."

Hahaha!! That would be amazing, incredible and very sexy Jeremy Renner and since he is much better looking than myself I decided to use him as my pic.

Christa VG (christa-ronpaul2012) Stephanie wrote: "Nope, not stressed thank goodness.

Yes.

TPBM Is baking like crazy for Thanksgiving.

message 1296: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Alex (Al) wrote: "... I bet after the rap your wife's listening to, you won't be able to sleep either. Duh duh dummm! "

Actually, crashed out as usual. Although I did have a strange dream.

Actually I have already begun baking for Christmas: two almond cherry Christmas cakes in the freezer and 6 dozen Christmas hermits. Was supposed to do more tonight, but I begged off to write and visit.

TPBM finds the melodrama around Thanksgiving to be trying.

message 1297: by Kyra (new)

Kyra (Nikara) | 1221 comments I wish we had pumpkin pie.... my aunt's in charge of Thanksgiving dinner this year, so all the foodstuffs are up at her place.

TPBM wishes everyone a merry Thanksgiving!!! XD

message 1298: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments YEAH! Happy Thanksgiving, all!!

And to Alex, that is how I feel. I do want a piece of the pumpkin pie we put away...

TPBM is getting stressed as they know they must prepare for the meal soon!

Did you know, Christa he was hosting SNL last week? That episode wasn't bad. It wasn't great but it was pretty funny.

message 1300: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) | 2875 comments Nope. The meal was delicious though.

TPBM is still full from dinner/lunch.
