Oh my gosh, my brothers are driving me a little crazy right now.TPBM is totally disappointed with their SAT scores.
Nope. I didn't take the SAT. But I'm disappointed with my ACT score XPI thought TCBY stood for The Country's Best Yogurt....
TPBM is watching Mythbusters right now.
According to what I just Googled, the average overall score on the SAT in 2012 was about 1500. An average score on the ACT is about 21.
This seemed an interesting equivalence to me. A score of 32 on the ACT would put you in the 97th percentile. If that score reflected only your IQ, you would have an IQ of 130.

I ALWAYS want apple pie.
TPBM agrees strongly with Kat's decision to watch Mythbusters, one of my personal favorite shows.
Nope. Once my head touches the pillow, I'm remming like a madman.TPBM doesn't know what ACT stands for or what's its purpose.
Nope. It stands for American College Test, and it's the West Coast version of the SAT.TPBM is trying to figure out what his/her friend should get for his/her professor :D
Hi, Kat. Every time I see it, I've wanted to say that I love your descriptor 'A Hypothetical Synesthete'.Nope; although I have the challenge of getting something appropriate for the clerks who do the grunt paper work in our office.
TPBM thinks that the show 'Elementary' is a rather lame take off of the Sherlock Holmes' franchise.
Thanks :DXD
YES! OMG yes. So agree with that. This is the first episode I've seen, and frankly, it's stupid.
TPBM is chatting with a friend :D
Nope, listening to the interesting radio show 'The Signal' on CBC Radio 2. Lots of independent world music, with an emphasis on Canadian. TPBM has a book that needs reading, but it isn't catching his/her attention they way s/he thought it would.
Well, only in that the dream interpretation I am doing is taking longer than I would have liked, but the dream is so fascinating that it is worth taking the time to wade through the Jungian books and etymologies to get to the root of it. TPBM was bemused to see in the show 'Elementary' that it expressed the philosophical notion that with increasing awareness comes increasing loneliness.
Well, now I do.TPBM just bought two new albums by two of their favorite artists, and is in a little bubble of happiness.
No, but I have two on my list to buy. The new one by David Byrne and St. Vincent, Love This Giant, with the song Who. And Zoë Keating's Into the Trees.TPBM finds music a necessary accompaniment to writing.
YES. My writing would not be half of what it is now without music. I have individual playlists on my computer set up with music of different moods, categorized for my writing needs.TPBM really needs to clean their desk, but probably will not.
Sigh! Yes, but it has been worse than it is today.TPBM has just found a book that they thought that they'd lost.
Mm, no, but finding lost books is always a pleasant experience.TPBM just visited the library for nonfiction books her teacher is requiring. The library is a wonderful place. (sigh)
The library is a wonderful place. But, alas, I'm have been stuck with staying at home and relying on my own.TPBM is having ice cream for desert, tonight.
Yes!!! Guy, you didn't mention you were a telepath. XDTPBM is marveling over Guy's mind-reading skills, and how extremely accurate they must be if they can reach all the way to California.
LoL! Okay, since I am wrong about these things 99.9999% of the time, that makes me the least accurate mind-reader in the history of mind readers. LoL!So, no, quite frankly, I am not marvelling at all.
TPBM woud rather have a pedi than a mani.
Sipping tea. Resisting the urge to stick some nice chocolate into my mouth.TPBM has an internal writing deadline that is being missed.
Yes, so does Guy!I'm shutting down for the night. Good luck with Stats and shaking off that cold.
TPBM will have a deep and peaceful sleep, and will have dreamt of double chocolate chip cookies and a rich Americano to stip it down.
Yes! I love Mondays. I hate weekends, dread them in advance.TPBM wouldn’t mind a few dark-chocolate-covered espresso beans about now.
Nooooo . . . it’s a day closer to the end of the week.TPBM likes taking long, steamy showers that fog up the windows.
No, Ajay. Lol. I don't know what Formula One Racing is. I was just answering for Alex. Lol. I'm being kind of silly today. :)
Lol. Well, it's a Grand Prix event for car racing, held across several tracks around the world. It drives me crazy! One of my favorite things ever!
I agree with M! Its the real thing! God, how I wish to drive one of those cars someday. Wouldn't mind trading everything else for that.
Frank Putnam? Is that his full name? I remember reading the name 'Putnam' in the popcorn thread. I get it now. Btw, how is Frank thesedays? He's kind of quiet of late.
I remember when Dad got bit by the squirrel Mom used to feed. Dad had to go to the Health Department to find out if he had hydrophobia.
