(Oye vey, that sounds like that Hooville song they sing in "How the Grinch Stole Christmas".)

I joined this Cozy group because I write (and love)cozies, but also because I saw a post about Death of a Wedding Belle, and wanted to respond. I'm looking for other fun wedding mysteries, out about the same time as my July 1 Mama Gets Hitched. Did those of you who read ''Belle'' like it?

For those of you who are curious about Midnight Ink, here's a couple of links:

Looking forward to getting to know you!

Hi Sonja, welcome. I'm glad the Kindle is working out for you. What's your newest read on it?

Bye, y'all.

I live in the DFW metroplex area in Texas. I'm a pre-k teacher. I have a 19-month-old son.

I'm a 40 year old guy living in the SF Bay Area, who is the typical corporate hack from 9-5. My first mystery, let alone cozy, was a summer read of Death on the Nile back when I was 13. I've been hooked ever since.
I just finished reading the latest Laura Childs' Tea shop mystery (kind of a moderate read, compared to the other books in the series), and am looking forward to reading the newest Juliet Blackwell mystery (set in SF of course!).
When I'm not reading mysteries, I'm big on contemporary fiction (the Help, South of Broad, etc.). I've been a member of GR for about a year, i think.

And Ava, I'm just down the highway from you...in Austin :)
Hope y'all have as much fun on this group as the rest of us.

Within walking distance would be even better. Or maybe that would just be dangerous. Good luck with the new home search adn welcome to the group!

Welcome Ava! You have my dream job!
Hello, Tobin. Welcome! I just recently re-read Death on the Nile. I had forgotten how wonderful an author Dame Christie was.
Welcome Barb! I always tell my husband that he MUST remember that he's married to a bookaholic and as a result our home MUST be near a library and/or a bookstore. But libraries are by far much safer, you don't end up in debt over books. :-P

Forgot to mention that I haunt second-hand and used book shops especially while traveling. Amazing what one can find!
The weather here in NE Illinois was chilly and wet all day - perfect for a pot of Lapsang Souchon, an old warm cat and a cozy to read.......heavenly!
Southern Wis hasn't been much better. Damp and gloomy all day yesterday, with more of the same expected Fri-Sun. Guess instead of walking the Arboretum I'll have to stay in and read!
(Yeah...that's such a hardship, LOL.)

I love the Sookie Stackhouse books and am desperately waiting for Dead and Gone (I only buy paperbacks). I'll read pretty much anything paranormal, but I just started reading the Walker Papers by C.E. Murphy and I'm loving them :)
