Just wanted to announce that David's book Fire Country
is 25% off today in all formats -- here is the link for the Kindle but as I said I think it is 25% off all formats :) http://www.amazon.com/Fire-Country-Th...

Never heard of it -- what is it about??"
Just finished and loved

It is. You must read it. Releases Feb 19. Maybe you have read other books by Kiersten White? This was my first read by her.

Aww thank you so much!! You are too kind Heidi, that really means the world to me ;)

Cinder by Marissa Meter
The Dead and the Buried by Kim Harrington
And my own copy of beautiful creatures which i read already!
I have to get started ( already started TDATB)

Awesome, I'm so glad you liked it!! I really have to read the sequel :) Good luck with the depression Lloyd, might want to skip The Book Thief for now, it has a lot of darkness in it, although really it's a story about the goodness in people. But better to wait until you're ready for it. Enjoy the sequel to Across the Universe and I hereby free you from Naughtyville! (I'm not sure if I have that power, but I thought I'd try!)

Well done Rissa!! You'll have to finish Cinder so you can read Scarlet, it comes out in a few days!

Nope I've never read any of her books.
You are most welcome David. You are awesome!

Listening to

I loved The Shades of Earth, so I vote to let you continue that journey!!

Woot, woot, David! "SHUT UP, Perry!" Heheheh...

Now about to start:

Woohoo! I'm excited. And nervous. *Bites nails*"
Omg jealous!! Enjoy :)

Aww shucks ;)

I just finished Prodigy, it was pretty good. I'd forgotten what'd happened in Legend too, but Lu does a decent job of blending the past events into the current story.

Lol!!

Yay! Cassi has posted :) Not sure about either of your current reads Cassi??

Hey I wasn't the one who even brought up the naughty corner -- that was David's warped mind!

Lol I seem to have managed to twist it so you are the overseer of the naughty corner. All part of my evil plan to stir up rebellion and unrest in the group mwahahaha!

I've finished the other book (whew) and started a book I've really been looking forward to (yay for that, stupid blogging responsibilities)

New job is still going well! Feel like I'm getting the hang of it (though it's a bit of a mental ADD fest to jump between 5 facebooks, 4 twitters, and 2 facilities for work at times). I like Louisville even though I've seen very little of it.
Yeah October Daye is urban fantasy. The first book is the weakest but after that they get better with each installment. And they don't have the typically terrible urban fantasy covers.

OH man, I knew I wasn't cut out for this evil villain thing...

I'll be jumping into

AWESOME!! I don't think I'll be able to read Scarlet right away, might be a few weeks later :(

Yay! Let me know what you think of Prodigy. I liked some things and was bothered by some things, but overall enjoyed it :)

Wow I can barely keep up with just Goodreads!
Sounds like the Kate Daniels UF series -- first book is the weakest.

I have a calendar that I made about when I'm supposed to post on which facebook about which events.
I haven't read the Kate Daniels series. I think it's a good sign when an author's first book is the weakest. It means they're improving and not just rushing through books to get them done.

I have not read any of those series."
Get to it then, girl!! All 3 series are excellent!
I don't think you'd like the Shatter Me books, Heidi. I was not a fan of the first book ... too much insta-love and the writing drove me nuts.
You might like Legend, though. I thought the first book was pretty good; I have yet to read the second one.

Thanks to a recommendation (I think from this group), I'm reading / devouring / can't take my hands and eyes off of

I'm glad you liked it, Vered. That series is almost universally loved here.

It is strange that nearly everyone can agree on that series Harold. I hope they are not afraid of my wrath should they hate it!

Another weekend is blurring by. I'm spending a lot of it out at the park, letting my son enjoy the outdoors and playing with kids his age. (Tough for him to be an only child - and six - in a household with parents who find entertainment in reading. But I try!)

Please don't hate me!
