What are you currently reading?

Yes, I love me some paranormal YA books! I think I follow your lead more than the other way around. I have loved the books that you have recommended. (Still have to read The Book Thief though.)

Not bad actually. My review is up, you can have a look and decide whether you want to read it. I hadn't even heard of this writer/book before I picked it up.
Ok I finished
on audio narrated by Will Wheaton who did a FANTASTIC job IMO. I also finished
and my love for Aussie authors and more importantly Mr. Zusak has no bounds. I am now planning to start
on audio narrated by Jason Isaacs (Lucious to fellow HP fans) and
in print.

I want to read

Rolenda and Mackenzie - Yay! It is excellent! I just finished it and my hubby is reading it now.
I started
the other day. It's good so far.

Yay! Loved it. I just got Froi (next book) from a GR friend in AU (you can see it in my profile pic - ignore the old lady holding it! hahaha).

Yay! Hex Hall is most excellent.

Shannen (Lumaterean): You really love it I see! Lumateran eh? Me too!! I'm a Mont! (^_~) and I want to be a novice of Sagrami!
Heidi: haha old lady? I am not aware that there's already a next book.. poor me! :0 hahaha thanks to you!! - (for accidentally informing me) yay!
When I posted my last comment I've actually read 80% of it (FOR). Can't put the book down and find some time to face the computer to update here! (@_@)
After reading Finnikin of the Rock, I was lost. I didn't know what to read next. I tried starting with lots of books, I think at least six books until I ended up reading

At the first 2 chapters I already gave up reading it. There were so many jargons that I can't make sense of it anymore, but then when I got the hang of it, I found myself enjoying it, yeah, really ENJOYING it!!

Roshini I got Raw Blue from Fishpondworld because it is not available here either and I even emailed the publisher to get it with no luck. Fishpond has free world wide shipping so you can check it out if you want. I just finished it and am in love with it. I am sending it around to some other friends in the States, but if you don't end up buying it I can try to send it to you when I get it back.

I just thought it was setting a bad example. I would have been a lot better with it if the girls were in college.

Since I know several others in this group also love Patrick Ness I wanted to say that I just finished
and I am a blubbering mess. Mr. Ness has outdone himself once again!

FYI I started a mini poll ( 2 days only) for our Nov. group read since we had a first ever 3 way tie. Go and vote! :)

I bought the audio because I couldn't wait. My library was taking too long. It was only $9.00, which is pretty good for an audiobook (then again it was only 4 hours).

Finished
and got so sucked into that I'm now reading
.
Also, I figured out how to download library books to my Kindle. Woohoo! There are several books on there that I want to read but almost all of the books have a waiting list. Just going to have to plan ahead.

Sweet (to both Hex Hall and Overdrive!) Yay!

It doesn't use Overdrive. I worried that I would have to download it but it works with my Kindle app over 3G.
Oh, sheesh. I was wrong. The library uses Overdrive but I don't have to have the Overdrive app.

Heidi - That's what was confusing me and why it took me so long for me to figure it out. I tried using the Overdrive app once and it was a mess (at least to me).
Bluemoon - I hope you get it soon!

Both books are great! Demonglass is even better than Hex Hall! Enjoy! :)

I really want to read this one! Hopefully it's not -too- sad!

Well...my mother passed away from cancer when I was young so it hit home since the main characters mother is sick with cancer, but it was sad in a good way if that makes sense.

I thought my Kindle had died because it wouldn't charge and I was so happy because I really want the Kindle Fire (depending on the reviews). Turned out just to be the charger. :( Haha!

I was checking out the Kindle Fire too (versus a smart phone, because YES I am back to the whole wanting something with wifi thing!) Anywho, my hubby showed me an article that the Kindle Fire 2 is already in the works (even though the Fire 1 is not even released yet) and it is going to be even better than the original Fire so I am holding off for that. If the article is correct they are releasing the Fire 1 now because of Christmas, but they have some tweaks that they are working out now that they want to add to the Fire 2 and so the second generation is actually going to be released only a few months after the first one. If that is true I can totally wait. I still plan to read books on my Kindle with ads (btw I LOVE the ads! I have gotten a ton of cool deals) because I love the eink and the Fire doesn't have eink. Do you know if the Fire is backlit btw??? Geez I am rambling!

I guess not because it is the actual screen (or so I have been told!)

I loved it! I liked Piper's Son (which is similar) a little bit more, but I loved them both. Adam's POV was much better than Mia's IMO.

Just finished
and it was a cliffhanger! I really like this series and am a little depressed that the next one doesn't come out until March.
I will be starting
through library lending on my Kindle. Woohoo!
Heidi - Does that article say what is going to be better about the Fire 2? The Fire is backlit but I'm looking forward to that. The e-ink just isn't bright enough for reading in bed with my bedside lamp on.

1.
My Soul to Keep (Soul Screamers #3) by Rachel Vincent
2.
Daughters of the Moon: Volume 1 by Lynne Ewing
3.
One Dog Night by David Rosenfelt

If you loved If I Stay, don’t wait for the paperback of Where She Went. Borrow any copy and read it soon. That book still haunts my thoughts and since my copy has been on loan to everyone I know since I finished in August I haven’t been able to re-read it. Adam…sigh… best male POV, made my heart ache.
@Heidi, I liked Hex Hall too! Waiting for BOOK THREE! But I did like
@Megan and Bluemoon, If you like Will Greyson Will Greyson then check out Dave Levithan’s collaborations with Rachel Cohen. I liked
