Yeah I read both of those a long time ago and they were both good but not AMAZING haha so I'll let you know how this measures up for sure
SHANEACE - too funny, great minds think alike :)
Finished
on audio a few days ago on my road trip to Florida. What a character Georgia is! It was a pretty entertaining read/listen.Started
last night and though it took me about 30 pages to get into it, I am flying through it now.
Well I finished
and couldn't stop myself from buying and starting
, which is making me giggle constantly.
Ha! We are on the same authors - love them both. Women of the Otherworld are pretty good. She changes POV from book to book. There are very few books in order that are from the POV, Elena has one or two in a row - she is my fave. And Georgie is too wonderful and funny for words. I need the box set of her books so I can go back and laught all over again.
Haha that is funny! Hmmm other POV..I just don't know how I feel about that. I really like Elena too!

Yay! Super glad you listened to Georgie! That is the best way to go with her books IMO.

It sure is! I just finished it and I already love Tallulah and can't wait to read more of her.
I didn't figure Pretty Little Liars for a Heidi book. I am very hesitant to read them. Let me know what you think please ma'am!
Heidi, I just looked at my ebook to see if it was loanable since you have an ereader that you never read books on but sad to say that it is not available for loaning. :(
Thanks for checking for me Jaimie! I ordered a copy from the library so I should get it within a week or so. Super excited. I miss Georgie so it will be nice to have a fill in.

Um...it is not really my typical read I admit. I told some fellow group members I would give it a try so true to my word I have. I only have about 30 minutes left of the audiobook and all I can think is that I would NEVER give a copy of this book to my 15 year neice. It is more for college kids I think.

Ahh. Yes I tried to watch one of the PLL episodes on TV and I just couldn't get into it AT ALL. Not my thing. So I decided I probably wouldn't like the books either.
So far I don't like this book at all. It has action, but I don't like Zoey. And I was forewarned of it by Meagan.

A lot of my GR friends really dislike this series. I have never read it personally though.

I'm liking it so far... and maybe i'll be on the love side for this book =) but who knows? i'm not done yet...
You'll really be picky when you constantly read amazing books cause you tend to compare. (that's what I think)
Meagan wrote: "^ I don't blame them. A lot of my Muslim, Mormon and Presbyterian friends strongly disliked the books. The only two (maybe three) people I know who loved the books were pagan."Religions are not always portrayed positively in these books, especially in the situations with her stepfather. However, in the later books, the teens team up with some Catholic nuns.
I'm not too big a fan of this series either. They're 2-3 stars from me.

That is exactly it. I have read a handful of amazing books in the past few years so if something is not as amazing it really sticks out to me.

It's quite long though!
Book Of Souls , by Glenn Cooper not a YA book but I really liked the frist one Library of the Dead. It's a religious conspiracy thriller, I picked it up becouse it was said to be alot like dan brown but It had more police work in it.
NOT SO SNOW WHITE is a great modern teen fairytale with all the elements of fun ... magic, mystery, teen angst, romance, and friendship

Am I reading the same "If I Stay" everyone else seems to adore? I'm nearly a hundred pages in and it's...well, basically bad so far.
Thalia wrote: "Am I reading the same "If I Stay" everyone else seems to adore? I'm nearly a hundred pages in and it's...well, basically bad so far."
I think it is the same one Thalia. I "liked" it, but I "loved" book two.

I'll still read the second one, no matter what I think about the first one. Hope it's better than what I think of the first book now.
ahh I see, it was Lola. Love me some Anna so you know I just about freaked out when I thought it was out and went to buy it immediately - pretty good though?

Not as good as Anna, but def. worth the read.

I know this will make Heidi happy ... I finished Jellicoe Road late last night. ^_^
And now I'm reading Dark Whispers, the third Unicorn Chronicles book. And I'm only reading it because the first two books were my favorite when I was 9 years old, and the author took ten years to write the third. And he left the end of the second one on a cliffhanger. So, I grew up waiting and waiting for this book. And I'm finally reading it. O_o

Melina is a goddess. She makes me feel like I could never be a writer because of her awesomeness.
