Ohhh great books back to back!

Okay I finished
and while I really really enjoyed. Really. A lot of things about the way it ended bothers me! There are so many questions left unanswered. I mean I get that there has to be some things that go unanswered to hook you into reading the next book, but come on! I need some closure if I have to wait a whole year (or however long it will be) for the next book to come out. It makes me never want to read series books unless they are all out. But I know that is unrealistic. Ugh!ANYWAYS! lol. The book was good. Except for the ending and the fact that I have to wait for my answers. Rant over.

That makes me want to wait several months to read it! I hate waiting!

I know! Suck! It's not like there was a huge cliff hanger or anything, just lots of things I want to know so I can try put things together.

SETH?!
I didn't know you were in this group. :P

I picked up
while shopping at Barnes and Noble recently and decided not to get it(partly because it was so big)! How are you liking it Thalia? Is it worth a try?
Right now I'm reading Sweet Little Lies by Lauren Conrad. It's actually pretty good. It's the second book of the L.A Candy series. Anyone read it?
I kind of ... hated Gone. It was unnecessarily long, the plot was overcomplicated and has barely any structure, I couldn't keep track of all the characters because they were all the same and there were too many of them and the writing was not very good. I found it to be quite disappointing, since the plot sounded all right and lots of people seem to like it. Ah, well. It wasn't for me.

Yeah, well . . . I am :P I have been for a long time, just never participated until . . . now. Haha.

Did you read Knife Brigid I can't remember? I think you did. I think it is much better than Gone.

Haha, yes! I am the one who obsesses constantly over Chaos Walking and recommends it to everyone I know every day. :D Oh gosh, the two shouldn't even be compared. TKONLG is amaaaazing.
Haha yeah, really the only thing they have in common is that they're both dystopian. But Chaos Walking is in, like, a whole other league. <3
I am currently reading -
I am loving it so much! In fact I feel sad that I am not reading it right now, I am having separation anxiety from my book! *Strokes it!*
lol
anyway, I was gonna ask the Jacky books, the ones by L.A. Meyer? Are those good? I hadn't heard of them until tonight when I started looking around here and heard people talking about them and was curious.

I keep seeing Divergent on here! Glad to know you like it. I am a HUGE Jacky Faber fan. I am actually wrapping up book 7 right now. I have listened to them all on audio and HIGHLY recommend the audiobooks as the narrator rocks and she gets the cockney accents down pat (which are hard to read in print for some people).

I also like the Jacky books on audio! I am about to start book 3. The narrator is absolutely amazing.
Today I finished reading
... still trying to decide what I thought of it. I liked it I guess, it just felt very ... rushed?
And I started
which I really like so far. I must admit, I'm a sucker for Meg Cabot books. XD

w..."Did you hear about Meg Cabot doing that one day chat with Goodreads? Sent in my question. So amazing! I was freaking out internally when I saw the group. Ahh! Meg Cabot. So funny.
@Picture - AAHH wait, has this chat thing happened yet? I didn't hear about it! And yes, she is hilarious. :)
@Heidi - I love her too. :) Well, there were a lot of things I liked about Hex Hall. It was a fun and addicting read, at least. The main character was a pretty likable narrator, although I thought she was pretty stupid at times. XD My main problem with it was that the author didn't seem to know how to end chapters. She kept cutting off right in the middle of important scenes, and then at the beginning of the next chapter, it would be like "So after that, this stuff happened" and sum it up in like two sentences. And I would be like "Whaaaa?! What just happened?!" I liked it enough to read the sequel, though.

@BrigidOkay, Meg Cabot for one day will talk to her fans. That day is March 17. But until then, you can send in questions I think. http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/4...
Oh, and she'll be answering questions about her new book, Abandon. :) So, yeah. I'm excited even though I haven't read her new book yet. Meg Cabot is amazing.
I can't believe you didn't hear about it. You've read more Meg Cabot books than me. Goodreads probably sent you a message. I received a message from Goodreads. Did you get the message?
Thanks Picture! I just found the group a minute ago and sent in a few questions. :) Ooh, you should read Abandon, it's really good so far! Yes, she is amazing. :)
I dunno if Goodreads sent a message about it. Maybe they did and I just didn't see it. :P

The Meg Cabot info has been on the right side of the Goodreads home page for awhile - I keep seeing it.
Right now I'm reading
by Meg Cabot. Yay Meg Cabot!I also checked out
that I'm really eager to read. Dystopian societies and polygamy? Sold. :P
I'm reading Sammy and Juliana in Hollywood, by Benjamin Alire Saenz. The "Hollywood" of the title is not the privileged neighborhood in L.A., but a poor barrio in the SW, near the Mexican border. It's a wonderful coming-of-age book, with a great main character (Sammy), who observes and mocks all the ways in which the kids in his 'hood f**k up but sometimes gets caught up in the chaos himself. Very authentic, funny dialogue, lots of great characterization, captures the hierarchies and drug culture and thoughtless racism and fear of Vietnam of sixties' American high schools.
I recently finished
. I'm going to continute with Mercy by Jodi Picoult. Need to finish this book so I can move on to others.

Oh! I love the Warriors books randomly! I feel so childish loving them so much, but I just do :P I'm in the second series on like book two or three I believe.
I'm reading
and I'm enjoying it so far. I'm also trying to finish some movie related books I have been "currently" reading for MONTHS. I made it through 2 of the 4 this weekend.
Currently, I'm reading the Forbidden Game (#1-3) by L.J Smtih. When I read the first two chapters I was unsure how I was going to like this book. However, I am now on the 2nd book and it really seems intriguing as to what will happen next!

'The Hunchback Assignments'? What a legend of a title!

I read it a few years ago ( a bit before it came out). I actually have only read one (and half) of the Ruby Oliver books (a loooooong time ago, I borrowed the first one and read part of the second in the bookstore- I forgot to go back). I really loved the ending.
