Shannen I so need to do the same thing! I have had World After in my Kindle for a year now and can't get to it for some reason. I have heard the rest of the series is worth the read so I want to get to them but it has been so long now I likely need to re-read Angelfall.

I loved Angelfall. By the time World After came out, the story from Angelfall left my mind. My memory sucks. If the rest of the series is good, then I'll do a re-read after I finish what I'm reading now.
I haven't heard a lot of bad things about the rest of the series so I still want to read them all. My reading is SUPER slow right now. I am only reading about 4-5 books per month if I am lucky. It is a slump I guess (that and those darn Korean shows!) Do you read the Kate Daniels series Shannen? I am nearly done with the second to last book and just love this series.
I think I started reading the first book and couldn't get into it. Can't remember why though.
Heidi - So I went back and looked at my review of Magic Bites. I gave it three starts and made a note that three stars was being generous. I made a comment that it was really cheesy. You and Kourtni told me to keep reading.

I DID! I love it, actually :) Thanks for the rec!

YES! Absolutely :)

Agree with David: YES!! Love this whole trilogy :)

Yes! The first book was really terrible to be honest. I was told the same thing about sticking with it and I am glad I did. Kate and Curran really rival Jericho and Mac.

Yay! I re-read my review and wasn't a huge fan of the ending but loved the book overall so forgave the ending.

Blasphemy! Nobody compares to Jericho and Mac! ;)
just finished reading...
I'm really surprised that I didn't like this as much as I did the others. I heard that it was better than the other two. I think I just expected to be more scared

I can't remember that far back (or 5 minutes ago) but I know for sure that book 2 in the Monstrumologist series was my all time favorite so I think book 3 was a little bit of a downer for me since I loved book 2 sooooo much :) Watch out because book 4 is like a bad acid trip (not that I would know because I wouldn't!)

Ummm sorry to say that I like Kate and Curran more *ducks*! Remember when I read the first Fever book and I said I wanted to punch Mac in the face because she was so annoying but you told me to stick with it?? Well the same thing applies with the Kate Daniels series! Have I ever steered you wrong :)

Geez! Why do you have to throw that back at me?! Haha! Do you think it is possible to pick up the second book without remembering anything about the first book (except that it was awful)?
Mac and Barrons are epic. That is all.
I have started my re-read of
. I forgot that it is so well-written.

Hahaha! I would think you could just start with book two. I remember not remembering much of book one because I wasn't a fan either.
I'm trying to get back into YA so I'm going to put that one off for a while (maybe a long while). Hehe!
Angelfall is the first YA book I have read in a few years. Got lost in Romance books but ready for a break. Unless it's a good angsty teen romance. ;)

HEIDI: argh! I loved the first and second book, so I know how it feels to be disappointed by this. I'm actually dreading reading the last book, but it's the last one might as well see what happens to Will.
Just finished reading...
It's so good! Definitely a must read for everyone who loves graphic novels and creepy stories!

I remember really liking Isle of Blood but I agree, I don't think it was as strong as the first two. The second one was my favorite (and it scared me the most, haha).

Finished re-reading The Diviners. And now I'm finally reading:
!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm like 50 pages in and it's really cool so far.

I loved the Diviners. Maybe I should re-read it too, but its so long! Do you know how many books it will be?

I think it's worth re-reading because I realized I'd forgotten a lot of what happened! I just looked it up and apparently it's a four-book series––dang, I thought it was just going to be a trilogy! :P

Jenny, I have really liked every Tamara Pierce book I have read. Hope you enjoy First Test.

Yes something lighter would be a great idea after that one :)

Donna - I like Jennifer Armentrout. Can't remember if I finished the Lux series or not.
Dixie and Heidi - I've only read one John Green book. Will have to look at more.

Yes, Will Grayson. I love that book!

Me too!! The Fault in Our Stars is my second favorite but I know you are not a fan of sad books!

I love it, too! An abundance of Katherines is my favorite, though.

Heidi - I don't mind sad books but not books about the Holocaust or genocide. I just can't do it. It tears me up to think of people being murdered because of who they are. Everything makes me cry but I'm not sure why this is especially horrible for me.
Might have to read more John Green books though.

Ahhh I see. I would try The Fault in Our Stars next then because it is my second favorite by him. It has some humor thrown in so that helps :)

Yay!!!! I loved the Rot & Ruin series. I got really tired of hearing "warrior smart" (as did several others on here) but I forgave it and just ignored it because I really loved Benny and the gang.

I am in a major reading slump this year. I don't know why but I can barely read 50 pages at night before I fall asleep and I don't feel like reading during the day like I used to do. I am hoping the slump will come to an end soon. I plan to start the monthly read tonight Nevermore and just started an adult PN read Vision in Silver
on audiobook.

Heidi - I think I have The Fault in Our Stars but not sure. I'll keep that one in mind.

Oh I definitely relate to Mabel more too, haha. But I like that all the characters are so different. :D
