The Psy/Changeling series is one of the best PNR series out there. And it's chock-full of dangerous heroes. You should check out the group for it:

Teresa (teresadamario) | 22 comments I really like this series. The heroes are hot, flawed, and sexy. They are dangerous, their animals (in all but one) rise to the surface when their mate is threatened. And they worship their mates as only an animal can do - unconditional love. :) And people wonder why I like shifters. LOL.

That's what I love about NS's books. She does shifters so well. I also love her Psy. They are cold and emotionless, but it's great to see them thaw. Judd, anyone? :)

DarkHeart "Vehngeance" (darkheart) I've only just started this series as the covers have recently been revamped in the UK (thank goodness). I've only read the first one, but have the second and third ones on order. I like the world she's built and look forward to learning more about it and its different inhabitants.

This series has some very good worldbuilding. I hope you end up enjoying the rest of the books, DH.

Teresa (teresadamario) | 22 comments I think the first book was the one I liked least, but I think it's because of the way the world building was setup. I spent the first half of book one trying to figure out when things happened, till I finally realized it's an entirely alternate universe and it didn't do me any good to think that way. Then I let go, and the entire thing just took over. :D

I actually fell in love with the series with STS. I'm not a big sci-fi reader, and she managed to write a book with heavy sci-fi that kept my interest. But I've heard it's not a fave of fans.

Teresa (teresadamario) | 22 comments STS? You lost me, I must have missed that one.

Slave to Sensation. Sorry about that.

Teresa (teresadamario) | 22 comments LOL You're so funny. I would never have gotten that. I"m just slow, though. :D I can't say it was my favorite, but it was enough for me to ask her to guest blog the week after I read it!

SheLove2Read (sherrih95) I just started this series recently. So far Slave to Sensation is still my favorite. I'm about to start on Hostage to Pleasure

Courtney (mrs_hf) | 164 comments I can't believe we have to wait until 2011 for Hawke's book. It may kill me. *sigh*

Right there with you, Courtney!

message 16: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. Okay I tried to read her Angels' Blood book and just didn't like it. I'm going to return it to the library. I don't mind paranormal books but this one with the angel Raphael as this sexual killer, I felt guilty reading it. I guess that's the line in the sand for me, not hot sex, not M/M love scenes, but sexual killer angels. Go figure.

Carolyn, I had no idea that was a part of the plot. Hmm. Sorry it didn't appeal. I'm glad you warned me.

FYI, I started a Nalini Singh thread.

here it is:
