Hi Elizabeth and welcome to the group. "Masters of the Air" is an excellent book, and I didn't mind the TV series either!

Hello! My name is Ian and I am very pleased to meet you all. Just came across this group when looks for folks who are also into the history books! I also venture into some other genres, but nothing beats history wither it be fiction or nonfiction. Any recommendations for some good books would be great!
Welcome aboard, Josh and Ian.Recommendations are easy to come by, you just have to give us a topic and then brace yourself for the flood!
Hi Ian and welcome to the group. Like Marc said, just let the group know your area of interest and stand by for the recommendations!

Browse the discussions, too, and you'll find a lot.
And just because this is one of my favorite fictional books about WWII, I'm going to suggest:
Last Citadel: A Novel of the Battle of Kursk
Hi there! My name is Claudio and I'm from the state of Hesse in Germany. I've been interested in history since I was a nerdy kid obsessed with video games and developed a particular passion for military history in recent years. My main areas of interest are probably the military campaigns on the eastern front, the social and political history of the Nazi regime and recently the Spanish civil war and Italy during WWII.Umm yeah, looking forward to have some insightful discussions with you :)
Hi there Claudio and welcome to the group. I am sure you will get quite a few recommendations from the group :)Here is a link to the page on our Eastern Front books:
