I just finished reading [[book:I, Michael Bennett|13037558].
I dislike books about drugs, drug kingpins and gangs but since it was James Patterson, I had to finish it. Unusual for Patterson, we have to wait for the sequel to see what happens! I'll give it 2 1/2 stars.

Am reading The Antiquarian, a Kindle offering that came my way. It's an historical mystery involving an elderly Spanish antiquarian in Spain in earlier times who has found a priceless document which he is translating and is murdered for....but...well, there apparently are some real twists and turns....

I am currently reading . The historical information is very interesting. I will have to do a little research to determine how much is fact & how much is fiction, outside the base story.

I finished The Perfect Husband by Lisa Gardner and enjoyed very much. This was my first novel by her and it was a true thriller, a page turner, fast paced and well-written. Very entertaining. I'm currently reading Detective Inspector Huss, by Helene Tursten, another first by an author for me. Enjoying this as well. I'm about to start A Storm of Swords, looking forward to re-acquainting myself with this story.

I just got "The Other daughter by Lisa Gardener Looking forward to starting it. I've read her in the past and enjoyed her, I believe it was Catch me that I read and I enjoyed it.

I just started reading "Before I Go to Sleep". I am also read a historical novel. I have a feeling I will get drawn into this book as I love mysteries, thrillers as much if not more than historical fiction.

Finished Tonight I Said Goodbye over the weekend and it was very good. Had a few first book issues but still a real page turner. I'm looking forward to reading more by Michael Koryta.

On the way home tonight I listened to most of Death of a Chimney Sweep. I'll finish it up over the next few days at the gym. You really can't go wrong with Hamish McBeth.

Gillian I listened to the audio version of of Criminal a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the book (and did Fallen a few weeks before). They both were great and I am turning into huge Will fan:-) I do like the way Slaughter intertwines her story lines. I live in Atlanta so reading about place I drive by is kind of interesting and makes me look at some buildings differently. I'm ready for the next book to come out.

Has anyone read The Secret Keeper by K Morton? I just finished and would like to get someone else take on the book. I can't decide how much I liked or didn't like the book. The mystery part was intriguing but some parts of the book were so drawn out it made me a little crazy (and bored).

I read it Kelly. I thought the first two thirds of the book dragged but then the last one third of the book was fantastic. Think it could have used some better editing and maybe cut about 100 pgs. Agree about the long drawn out description.

Diane, that was my thought too. The ending was great and I like how Morton tied all the pieces together. There were parts of the book that was just too descriptive and drug on. Yes, a good editor might have been able to clean it up some. I'm glad I'm not alone with the thoughts on this book.

I have enjoyed all the Karin Slaughter books I've read so far. I'm not that familiar with the Will Trent series, but do look forward to checking it out.

I'm reading Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption. . And . Trust Your Eyes, Linwood Barkley is always a great thriller author, and this one starts off with a bang! As for Unbroken, I can't just read non fiction without taking a break from it. I am forcing myself to get back to it again.

Just getting into David Baldacci's Zero Day - good so far, but I keep thinking it's a Jack Reacher prequel...

Finished and started . Started reading Jo Nesbo from his first novel about Harry Hole and it was OK. I somehow couldn't get the image of the main character as it wasn't any descriptions of him in the book, but it was a very good reed. The book I started now, The Wishbone, is quite intriguing and has it's very scary moments just like watching a good horror movie. I can't wait to finish it, the author did an excellent job in bringing a very creepy atmosphere!

Okay, is it just me, but I love the Paul Temple Mysteries by Francis Durbridge. Something about the language that gives me goosebumps even though they are mostly just cosy mysteries, I'm still completely hooked to the end.

I've just finished Paul Temple and the Margo Mystery.

I just finished . Do not waste your time on this book. It was horrible. The plot was weak at best, the profanity was throughout the book, and it was just a plain pointless read.
