The amusement park was awesome! It's a water park/amusement park so the best of both worlds. We had a good time.

Sam and Alyssa: Normally all this drawn out sexual tension would be killing me but I Alyssa has to guard her heart. I mean Sam leaving her almost killed her. Every time they talk about the chocolate syrup, I swear I get this goofy grin :). I just know when it finally happens - fireworks!

Walter and Dots story is beautiful and makes me so sad at the same time. How he treat Sam, when his father beat the crap out of him, it's heart warming to read. I think we're finally getting to know Roger a lot better in this book. (hide spoiler)]

Regina, i'm wracking my brain wondering who the character you referred to is. Cosmo? Give me a hint? FBI or SEAL? haha!

LOL -- you know my preference for latino men. :) I didn't know that I would love him when I read about him in this book. But in his book, I LOVE him. Haha. He is a cop and appears in a scene with Gina.

On paper Alyssa and Max are perfect for each other. But love and passion have other plans!

I think that Alyssa has wrongly misjudged Sam from the beginning and she starting to figure that out. His honesty is amazing to see, total leap of faith.

I haven't read more. But, when I did read I was really hoping they came together sooner than other books. He really needs her.

LMAO!! When Ric Alvarado (I found him :) (54%)(view spoiler)[Tells Max to wait outside so his Daughter Gina would feel more comfortable telling the officer about her birth control pills. I lost it. I laughed so hard. Well i'm sure Max wont take that well. haha! (hide spoiler)]

I know! Just more nails in the Gina and Max coffin -- or evidence for Max. :) That was definitely an awkward scene for many reasons.

Learning about who Roger is breaking my heart. I'm back to being super emotional and crying at any emotional moment. so sad!

What book is Gina and Max? Mainly how many more do I need to read to get there lol!

It is so sad and hearbreaking about Roger/Sam. And that Alyssa doesn't understand this and calls him Roger. I loved the history flashback in this one. Please post the quote! I need a refresher.

Gina and Max's is coming up. So this one is 6. You need to do a 7 and 8 first (but they are good) and then it is Max and Gina (9 -- Breaking Point is their book):

So, it when he asks Alyssa to marry him. Alyssa says "You're in love with Gina. You told me you were."

"That's not love," he countered. "That's something else, somethings possessive, something, Christ, I don't know, greedy and twisted and obsessive and chaotic and ... I want to own her, Alyssa. I want to wrap her up and keep her safe and put her in... in... some closet somewhere and take her out when it's convenient for me to.. to... Okay. Yes. Sex. It's about sex and it's about power and control and it's about her looking at me with those Bambi eyes and adoring me when she should goddamn hate me, and... that's not love."

Um... Max... Yes it is! He feels so guilty for not 'saving' her. I love what Gina said to Max about she was his one mistake in the field but ultimately they shared that rape because he was there with her the whole time. (hide spoiler)]

I absolutely love Gina. She's 24 and stronger than many women twice her age.

That brought tears to my eyes -- both the quote (which gave me shivers and then tears) and then your comment. They did share it. In a way, that made it easier for her to heal. It wasn't only her pain and someone else truly understood the evilness that happened to her. She is brave, from the moment she raised her hand on that plane.

Oh god, I love Max. I love his power, his suits, his presentation -- which is somehow very manly and his indecision and torment. I am not sure how many men in this series I can love Ric (you will see way later on, it isn't obvious in this one), Izzy (again - -he comes later on), Max - - oh and Jones. My 4 favorite men.

I love Max always tries to do the 'right' thing but even with Alyssa he can't cross the line.

I was laughing at how he describes Gina, (view spoiler)[with her turquoise belly ring and long tan legs. How she beautiful and curvy and most girls her age would want to diet but she's fine with herself.

It was Gina who told Max that he was there with her. God I remember how painful that was for both of them. I just breaks my heart. He's such a stubborn man. ugh! She's wonderful and loves you and does not hide that. (hide spoiler)]

Now i'm at 75% (view spoiler)[ Sam and Alyssa just slept together and I expected more sparks. Ric just walked Gina to her hotel and wanted to sleep with her but she told him about her attack and then pushed him away. I wonder if Max will take her up on her let's have sex offer? (hide spoiler)]

The storyline definitely changes. But I think she had to. There will still be SEALS, FBI agents and negotiators -- but there is a new path as well. I like Tom and Kelly better in the other books than in their book!

They have some charisma. I mean the way Tom looks at her, thinks about he and is totally and utterly in love with her. It's smoking hot! He's on of my favorite characters.

I'm reading today. Tom and Kelly (view spoiler)[got married (hide spoiler)]. Sam and Alyssa (view spoiler)[found about about ML and the gun. Sam is not going back to Sarasota and Lys just handcuffed them together. (Didn't she learn her lesson last time?) (hide spoiler)]. This is an intense book, lol.

I know... YAY!! I love Kelly, she's so take charge and independent and Tom loves that about her. They balance each other out. What about the scene with them in the beginning of the book with the peaches *blush*

Maybe Lys wanted it to happen again. Can we all say *chocolate syrup* haha!

yeah, the actions is kicked up a notch in this book for sure.

LOL, I love Kelly and Tom too. And I'm SO angry about what they're doing to him!

Unfortunately sometimes within the military you are no innocent until proven guilty.

It all works out in the end... you will see.

I'm still so mad about Tom, lol. I know life works like this sometimes, but reading about it is still very upsetting. Just like I'm so upset about how (view spoiler)[everyone is just assuming the terrorist is Ibrahaim even though he was already ruled out (hide spoiler)]. Realistically, I can see this happening. Emotionally it's truly upsetting me.

I love Sam, lol. I love Max.

I thought it was AWESOME! I loved Ken's, but I loved this one a little more. There wasn't one story in it that I felt lagged. Sam/Alyssa was just as interesting as Gina/Max and the flashback story. I have to say, I'm going to miss those flashback's.

I know Wendy, I was sad to leave them behind. But she always incorporates some history. For example, 8 I think it is about the making of a movie centered on a historical figure

I think maybe I'm feeling like I'm going to miss them because the one in 6 was so well done. It didn't feel like a flashback out of place, it fit so well with the story.

I love how the historical story ties into on or more of the current story lines. At the end of Gone Too Far, when Walter and Dot decided (view spoiler)[ To get married and they've been in love with each other for so long. It was beautiful. What I didn't understand while reading their story was if they had any children together. I thought they did because of Noah's dad but that part was not clear to me. Then Walter really being Sams uncle, that just made me cry. (hide spoiler)]

Yeah they did. Noah's (view spoiler)[father was Dot and Walt's child. That's why Noah had such a resembelance to Sam, through Dot (hide spoiler)].

Slowly making our way through this series. I'm loving Tess and Nash :)

FYI for fans of this series, Suzanne Brockmann just posted on FB that she has a new book coming out in the TS world but it is a spinoff -- involving Martell from Froce of Nature and some FBI agents that work with Jules.

OK, OK... you got me interested. I've got book #1 Unsung Hero and have started it. I'm also in the middle of a couple of novellas, so it's not a quick read for me. But I'm loving it so far - the bit about Joe and Charlie and WWII is probably going to break my heart, though.

I can always count on finding good reads around all of you!

I loved the historical stories more than the contemporary stories in the first 2 books... so keep reading because the books build on each other. I hope you like it :)
