Don't hold out hope, Peep. Catching Fire didn't change my mind. We just don't see enough of Gale to fall in love with him. Besides, I think Gale would sacrifice Katniss for the cause. Peeta has loved her from afar, has sacrificed himself to keep her alive, held her in his arms at night, kissed her over and over, etc., etc.

Sheila - I hope you not caving into these crazy people on here talking about Pistachios - besides I live in the town of Beer Nuts Sheila -- I can get you any kind of nut you want - cashews, peanuts, almonds). Anyway, Team Gale always promise things and never delivers. And, I know, just as Shannen found out, you will be even MORE in love with Peeta after Catching Fire because Gale is really just an afterthought in that book. Happy Reading.

Just because Gale isn't a tribute. Obviously he wasn't in the book as much as Peeta, He wasn't in The Hunger Games! I think it says more about his character that he is still ever present in Katniss's mind even though he's not actually physically there.

The Hunger Games are over and it's time for the Rebellion, AKA, it's Gale's time to shine!

In my opinion the WORST thing that could possibly happen with this series is having everything end wrapped up nice and tight with a pretty bow. I've posted this somewhere else, but I hope with all my heart that Suzanne Collins has the courage to finish the series correctly.

The whole point of The Hunger Games (the books, not the games themselves) is that sometimes there are thing worth fighting for, sacrifaces worth making. If everyone ends up happily ever after that will be a sure way to disappoint.

I'm looking more for a HP book 7 than an "the series that shall not be named" book 4.

And they all lived happily ever after!!
