"I LOVED THIS BOOK. I didn't realize at first it was about Aliens but I think it is very well written and I love the characters! There is also a lot of action - which I think is good. It's not super fast paced but fast paced enough to make it interesting! I hope you enjoy!!
I'm reading story of my life by helen keller, fairy tales by hans anderson, pride and prejudice by jane austen and re-reading harry potter! quite a lot haha!

I am currently reading the Unauthorized Biography of Susan Boyle and Turning from Hypocrisy to Truth, by Warren Weirsby.I am an author (not a kid). My 'kid' will turn 21 the 21st of this month and has a master's degree from Wheaton College. She is a reader.
I have a NEW website for Christian Social Witness http://talkofJesus.com
We need book reviews & my experience has been that kids and youth write wonderful reviews of the books that they read.
If you are a Christian who reads Christian fiction, inspiring biographies or even Christian non-fiction, please consider posting a review.
PS My current serial short story is dedicated to my daughter. If any of you have had to deal with death and grief, check out: A Picture of Heaven... only on http://talkofJesus.com -+- Christian Social Witness.
When I read the diary of Anne Frank a few years back, I felt I was Anne in a different place, at a different time. Some of her dreams matched mine, some of her thoughts matched mine. It's a beautiful book.
I'm an reading GETTING OVER GARRETT DELANEY by Abby McDonald.Seventeen-year-old Sadie is in love: epic, heartfelt, and utterly one-sided. The object of her obsession — ahem, affection — is her best friend, Garrett Delaney, who has been oblivious to Sadie’s feelings ever since he sauntered into her life and wowed her with his passion for Proust (not to mention his deep-blue eyes). For two long, painful years, Sadie has been Garrett’s constant companion, sharing his taste in everything from tragic Russian literature to art films to '80s indie rock — all to no avail. But when Garrett leaves for a summer literary retreat, Sadie is sure that the absence will make his heart grow fonder — until he calls to say he’s fallen in love. With some other girl! A heartbroken Sadie realizes that she’s finally had enough. It’s time for a total Garrett detox!
So for I'm at page 200. It's pretty go, even though I prefer reading fantasy books.
magician by Raymond E. Feist. It's awesome!!!
Central by Raine Thomas. Its book 2 in the Daughters of Saraqael trilogy which has been really good so far.
Leila wrote: "I am reading city of glass by Cassandra Clare third in the mortal instruments!"I loved the first 3 books :D
Caught between two books at the moment (that aren't school realated):Fragile Eternity (Lovely Wicked series) and The Search for the Real Self.
Second one is more of a clinical psychology book. Both good so far.
A Darkling Plain by Phillip Reeve, it's the last in the Hungry City series and so far good, I liked Mortal Engines best but the harkens to that does improve my opinion of it. Unfortunately by certain means I've heard the ending is...bad.Or tearjerking...
I have just begun to read "Eighth Grade Bites" and "The House of Hades." I've also begun to read "Momentum" and "Uprising." I just finished "Sidekicks."
Jessica wrote: "My most recent book was The Perks of Being a Wallflower and it's amazing"That's such an awesome book!
I just finished reading Allegiant and the feels for that book are overwhelming. It's just.... no. And now I'm currently reading The Scorch Trials by James Dashner. I'm only on page 5ish so I hope it's good. I LOVED the first one... so yeahhh :)
hey, does anyone here have little kids who are afraid of monsters? I know I used to when I was a kid and this new book really helps ...
