I just finished reading The Witch of Blackbird Pond which I absolutely loved. I think it's perfect for the middle grade reader. It's about a well to do girl who has to go live with her lower income family up in New England. She finds out what it means to put aside your pretty dresses and do really hard work. It takes place I think in the 1800's when people were accused of being witches and were put to trial. I LOVED this book.
I'm thinking of reading Speak by Anderson next or Wonder by Palacio or maybe Out of My Mind by Draper. So many good reads out there.

I started ChainsbyLaurie Halse AndersonI think it's very exciting and a good book. This book takes place around the Revolutionary War in New York.

Who reads just one book at a time? I have about six going right now. I'm pretty awful when it comes to concentrating. I'm focusing on a couple more than others, but I am still enjoying the other ones I'm reading.

Bleh. True. I guess. I'm reading two right now, so I can't complain ^^ The problem is, Elev somehow manages to read both in the time it takes me to read only one xD

I never read 1 book at a time. Unless I run out of books.... which is kinda happening right now. I'm reading Jane Eyre By Charlotte Bronte(with the dots on the e) I've been trying to finish it for a really long time. But I've also been reading the Percy Jackson and the Olympians for the like 4th time and the Heroes of Olympus series again to refresh before House of Hades comes out. I've also been reading the Mother Daughter Book Club Series for like that 18th time!(I LOVE IT) Anyways Jane Eyre is awesome! I'm not that far into it since it's kinda a long book(well to me anyways) I would give you a summary of the book but you know I haven't finished it yet. :)
