Where do you find free ebooks?

Where do you find free ebooks?

Where do you find free ebooks?"
Looks like it is free on Amazon for the Kindle: http://www.amazon.com/Regina-Sun-Chil...
Even if you don't have a Kindle, you can read it if you have the Kindle App (free download) on your PC, Mac, iPad, blakcberry, or iPhone. I am not sure if other vendors have this as well.

I gotta control myself! I need to stay off Amazon!!

I have to stay off Amazon too. If I get an ereader I am going to be so much worse:) Have to control what I buy, there is only so much time in the day to read after all!!!!

Isn't that the truth. :) Having an ereader does make it easier to buy and carry them around. My husband doesn't see the packages coming from Amazon anymore -- so he can't question me on all my purchases. :) He doesn't see the books on the shelves growing. :) And thankfully he doesn't see that credit card bill, lol. :) So I have no-one questioning or wondering what the heck I am doing!! But really, most of those purchases were because Penguin books may be going up in price on Amazon, and I knew I would read them down the road, so I wanted to get them at a good price. I talked myself out of buying the sequels. :)
I got my free book from www.allromanceebooks.com i've been getting a email everyday from them for 1 free ebook up until Earth Day as promo special, But they do have other free books on the site as well
I've shopped again, I seem to be buying so many books - I blame the offers!! These are my purchases today

I got loads of first in a series there! I had offers too, on the first in a series they were 3 for 2 (all but one of them are) However, that probably means I'll end up having to get all the rest of each series too - got a feeling that might be a lot of books :)

Did you get your 3 for 2's at Waterstones? BTW Amazon UK have a huge sale on at the moment, most books are under fiver each and I'm getting ready for another big order. Some of the Kresley Cole Immortals After Dark books are under £4! I'm still making my list.
Waterstones are selling Rachel Caine's Morganville Vampires series for £3.50 each! I'm comparing prices everywhere. I'm an addict, I need an ereader too.

Yeah it is!! Not got one yet though, am wondering if I'll just wait until the legal issues around the rights have been sorted.
Oh no!! I'm going to have to go have a look on Amazon now too......
I got the Morganville Vampires books 2,3 and 4 for £5 for all of them at a book discount shop! Pleased as I've read the first and enjoyed it.

Let me know now what you think of the Demonica books, I'm thinking about reading them soon.

I bought

That's all I planned on buying. Then I saw Heart of the Wolf, I was just checking it out. Then I noticed it was .02. That's right two pennies, safe to say a bought it.

I love it when Borders treats me right, 3 books all for $6.76. Let's just say I had dreams about .02 books. *sigh*

i gotta buy that series! really good. dying to read the fifth book when it finally comes out!

Woohoo! I hope you love it. I am about to "re-read" DarkFever by listening to it on audio. :) Maybe we will be "reading" at the same time.

That would be great. It will probably be next weekend at least before I get round to reading this (it's #3 on my to read next list!). Look foward to chatting with you about the book - I know you love it from your other posts!

Carmilla is a pre-Dracula vampire tale and I could definitely see where Bram Stoker got some of his ideas. The length was nice, it's fairly short and concise - something you don't always see with classics.
I was surprised but happy that the main characters are female, and at some of the lesbian vibes I was getting from Carmilla, which Laura found uncomfortable but was unable to resist her. (They had a mutual fascination with each other.) I'd say this was pretty daring for the time period.
I quite liked it. Laura wasn't delicate, she didn't crumble at the first sign of trouble. To sum it up in four words I'd say it's about coincidence, mystery, truth and deception. We certainly don't trust others like they did back then!

Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Volume 1
The Strain by Guillermo Del Toro
The Forest of Hands and Teethby Carrie Ryan
The Hunger Gamesby Suzanne Collins
Blood Promiseby Richelle Mead
Kitty's House of Horrorsby Carrie Vaughn
Bad Bloodby L.A. Banks

Amy that is exactly what pulled me to it. I can't wait to get into it.
