Reading an American historical
and enjoying it very much. I also would like to share with you a thought: reading lots of books of the same author can get you fed up with said author. It has happened to me with
: all Lorelei James female characters look like the same kind of woman and it annoyed me so much that I couldn't finish, in spite that this novel it isn't worse than others that I really enjoyed.
I just read
and I have to tell you, I LOVE this series. Sophie Oak writes some seriously tongue-in-cheek funny books!
Reading Kiss of the Shadow Man by Maggie Shayne but the version I have is not in GR system yet. Its a two for one book and includes Regarding Remy by Marilyn Pappano.
Currently listening to
- just came out on audio last month. I have others I should be listening to for reviews I promised to do, but this is my favorite Kleypas and I have no willpower!
lol, I found that out a few minutes ago. Guess I'm gonna wait til I get the other 2 in the series instead. So Razor's Edge it is. Also reading
If You Hear Her was FANTASTIC!! It does have a cliffie, but it's not too awful bad that you can't wait for the next one.
Thanks, Megan. I decided to wait at least til the 2nd book comes out. I decided to read
instead. I've been wanting to get this one and now I have it and its begging me to read it.
Reading
via audiobook and
on my Kindle. I'm loving First Grave, and North of Need has been rather emotional so far.
Just finished It Happened One Autumn yesterday, now I'm working on Honor's Splendour and man is it good.
I am on a role to finish my 120 for the year. FinishedHonor's Splendour and it was one of the best reads this year. I also finished The Woman in Black which I liked. I just finished Border Wedding and it was a wonderful historical highlander romance. Now I'm working on Chosen the third book in the House of Night series.
Good luck on finishing your personal challenge, Cheryl! Loved HS, and have been looking at TWiB for awhile now. I don't know if the House of Night series is my cuppa tea, but I've looked at it too.
Cheryl wrote: "Thanks ladies! Just starting Seduction of a Highland Lass. Only 4 books to go!"good one!
I'm about to finish up The Players Club: Scott by Cathy Yardley. Blazes can be hit and miss with me, but this one has been pretty good so far.
