I really like it. I'm only around 40 pages into the first story, but it is really good. It is my first paranormal erotica book, which I like way more than I thought I would. Plus the 2 guys in the first story are complete animals, literally, lol.

This is starting to feel like school.
(add book/author isn't working for me, so you'll just have to imagine a book cover here).

My new favorite series in that style is the Rough Riders contemporary cowboy erotic romance series by Lorelei James, I just ordered $50 worth from Amazon:

Cowgirl Up and Ride (Rough Riders, #3) by Lorelei James Rough, Raw and Ready (Rough Riders, #5) by Lorelei James Long Hard Ride (Rough Riders, #1) by Lorelei James Branded As Trouble (Rough Riders, #6) by Lorelei James Tied Up, Tied Down (Rough Riders, #4) by Lorelei James

Amanda (kittiescardigansbooks) | 207 comments I have all of the Rough Riders books on ebook - and they are great! Very hot bad boys!

I've read a few Sarah McCarty books too, but only the ones that are sold through ellorascave.com (which is now jasminejade.com). I definitely want to read her Hell's Eight and Wild series - but can't afford them right now. My library unfortunately doesn't have them :(

Don't you hate it when the library doesn't have what you want.

message 1671: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (kittiescardigansbooks) | 207 comments @ Darcy - it is the worst when that happens! Especially when they have all but one book in a series! I have learned that often the missing books in the series are missing due to theft, so logically there is a good reason, but reason goes out the window when I am enthralled by a series!

However, I have been really surprised by the selection of romance books that my library has considering its size (I was the most surprised when I saw that they have Shayla Black's Wicked Lovers series). They also thankfully have a TON of historical romance novels, which is a major obsession of mine...

message 1672: by Darcy (new)

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments I know what you mean Amanda, I am surprised by the amount and variety of erotica that my library carries.

Loved all of them!

Lol Amanda and Darcy ---- At least you have an english library:-) (seems like I'm working on building my own, lol)

Oh, I want that one but have to move it up on my priority list next time I've cash.

@ Darcy and Amanda, look what I found at Half Price Books today:

Wild Instinct (Wild, #4, #5, & #6) by Sarah McCarty along with Colters' Woman (Colters' Legacy, #1) by Maya Banks and King of Clubs (Wonderland, #4) by Cheyenne McCray

If you are ever near a Half Price Books, you MUST go in and ask if they have an erotica shelf (not every HPB does).

message 1680: by Darcy (new)

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments @ Mollie - I just finished Wild Instinct and really liked it, but it wasn't as erotica as the first one.

message 1681: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (kittiescardigansbooks) | 207 comments @ Mollie - oh how I love Half Price Books! I live in Indiana now, and there aren't any within a 60 mile or so radius from my town, which is so depressing! I go to Minnesota and Washington state regularly, and always make a point of going to HPB - but the ones I go to don't have an erotica shelf...

One HPB does separate the paranormal romance and romantic suspense out - which I like, but that's all they do

It is really good so far. I'm about 90 pages into the first story. I wish I could just leave work and go home to read, lol.

I haven't read the Lora Leigh story yet though, so I'm curious how you'll like it!

Just finished

Wicked Appetite (The Unmentionables, #1) by Janet Evanovich

Diesel is a strange hero, part dangerous hero, part goofy kid, with a lot more self-restraint than most dangerous hero stories contain. I also liked that the villain is very attractive.
