Oh I love the Black London series, I am so looking forward to when "Bone Gods" comes out. I am British so I swear perfectly in an English accent, however, no one does it quite as well as Jack Winter!

If it was me I would go for either "Miss WOnderful" The start of a great series. Or "Last Dragon Standing" As GA Aiken (Shelly Laurenston) is great, so funny!

Melanie (melaina) | 411 comments Courtney... you probably already decided what to read next, but I would read Miss Wonderful (Carsington Brothers, #1) by Loretta Chase ... It's a great (and funny) start to the Carsington Brothers (which you don't have to read in order!):-)
Enjoy!!

LOL!
I just read Peppermint Creek Inn (Undercover #1) by Jan Springer and was fairly disappointed. I liked a lot of elements, but nothing was really well done.

Back to Knit One, Kill Two (Knitting Mysteries, No. 1) by Maggie Sefton for now.

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 474 comments I have started reading Black and White (The Icarus Project, #1) by Jackie Kessler , which is really interesting so far. It is about super heroes and villians who are raised in a corporation and used by them.

I also thought this one was very different. The second one just came out and is good too.

That is one of the better Sookie Stackhouse books... enjoy! I think the latter ones were more like soap operas... no sense of resolution, but this one is great.

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 474 comments @Darcy- I didn't realize this was part of a series, I just thought it was a standalone. What is the second book called?

The second one is Shades of Gray, Shades of Gray (The Icarus Project, #2) by Jackie Kessler

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 474 comments Thanks Darcy, I have just added it, it sounds really great! Although I think perhaps I shoudln't have read the blurb as it gives things away about "Black and White"!

Melanie (melaina) | 411 comments In the last couple days I've read a lot of good books:
Sin Undone (Demonica, #5) by Larissa Ione Smooth Talking Stranger (Travises, #3) by Lisa Kleypas Goddess of the Sea (Goddess Summoning, #1) by P.C. Cast Start Me Up (Tumble Creek, #2) by Victoria Dahl Prince Charming by Julie Garwood Talk Me Down (Tumble Creek, #1) by Victoria Dahl The Surgeon (Jane Rizzoli & Maura Isles, #1) by Tess Gerritsen ...

Then this evening I read Bride Enchanted by Edith Layton ... 2.5 stars .. Gotta say, I was pretty disappointed... I really expected better: Thought that the plot was flat and uninteresting, practically non-existent, and I kept on expecting it to get better... Problem is I bought a whole bunch of EL's books along with this one a couple months ago... Can anyone tell me if her other books are any better?

Then I read A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux by Jude Deveraux, and now have all these feelings left over... It was a beautiful time-travel love story, a definite 5 stars... But I just with it'd ended a little differently! (I don't want to give anything away...) So ... conflicted feelings left over along with a couple tears in my eyes...

Megan and Carol - Was "Three Nights..." the best? That might be my next read... I need something a little more joyful after reading that last book!

Boy, Melanie, you read faster than I do! WOW!

Last night I read The Hunger Games (Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins and loved it... Mom is in the middle of Book two and I may have to snitch it when she falls asleep tonight. We already have Mockingjay checked out of the library.

I read a little further into the Bram Stoker biography last night, and it's getting better and better. He socialized with Charles Dickens, Oscar Wilde, Prime Minister Gladstone, and many others of whom we've heard.

Melanie, I've read one of EL's novels, The Cad, and I thought it was good. I haven't read the one that disappointed you. I'd say read another, and then you'll know if she's not for you.

I think that's what I'll end up doing... I mean, I have like 7 of her other books, so I'll at least have to give her another try!:-) Unfortunately, I don't have the Cad, lol.. (I'll see which of her books has the best rating..)

Read Say No To Joe? (Visitation, North Carolina, #1) by Lori Foster this afternoon, and thoroughly enjoyed another of LF's big and sexy heroes:-) I'd already read Bryan's story, so next up is Bruce:-)

I have to see if mom has started Mockingjay yet. If not, I want to snatch it up and begin at once.

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 474 comments I am so glad you liked these books Mollie, they are so good, I didn't like Catching Fire as much as The Hunger Games, but it was still brilliant. And Mockingjay is even better.

No One Lives Forever starts off with a bang. I like that the heroine is her boyfriend's bodyguard. I don't know if he's going to be the main hero in this story, because according to the back cover of this book, she's going to go seek help from an old friend.

I'm writing a story called His Bodyguard, where the heroine is the hero's body.

I wanted to read a story where the heroine was protecting the hero and never came across a book like that, so that's why I've started writing my story and afterwards I was told that an author wrote a book like that, but I have yet to find that author's book. I have to check the interracial board that I am on, for the author's name.

Now, I've started reading this book that I had for a while, with this theme.

I can't wait to write a review about this book.

Mockingjay is a let down for me. I thought it would ended a little differently. I did expect that Peeta and Katniss would end up together. But come on the ending was so weak (compares to how good the other two were).

Wan, I don't think any of them ended well. The Mockingjay epilogue seemed tacked on at some editor's instigation. The others seemed to end mid-scene, as if she'd written one huge book and they made her break it into three.
