Amy | 6 comments I have recently joined Goodreads, I've always read and up until now I have been using an alternative (and not as good) online bookcase. I have had a lot of time on my hands recently and have begun to start a blog you can check it out if you want (don't feel obliged, it's still in its early stages!) Babbling Bookcase . I'm a Primary School teacher and am particularly passionate about children's picture books, but will read anything thrust upon me! I love cooking too...I make a mean chocolate cake!

Anyway hi everyone! Lovely to meet you all!

Joseph-Daniel Peter Paul Abondius (bookaholic203) Hi everyone my name is Joe --I know my real name is much longer. I read last year about 88 books and this year aiming to read 100. At the moment I am reading an older book called Dewey-The small town Library cat who touched the world by Vicki Myron. So far I am giving it a 4/5 I am also reading my first Lee Child book _Gone Tomorrow which I discovered was the 19th book in the series after starting it. (oh well) . I hope this group can give me a few ideas of what to read.Next on My list to read is book 5 Wicked Caress by Stephani Hecht and Talking to Heaven by James Van Praagh. ANyway its great meeting all of you

@Joe. That is great to aim a bit higher. I did that last year and broke 100 books! I was all too excited!

message 360: by Max (new)

Max (maxbob) Good call Joe - I'm on a bit of a mission myself at the moment, reading from A to Z, only authors I've not read before and as often as possible from genres I don't usually visit (recommendations gratefully received!).

I've been frequenting my local library now for a few months and am onto 'C' so far (slightly side-tracked by a 'B' I got for xmas...), have read some fantastic books and am in it for the long-run, trying 4 books from each letter :D

Jen (In the Closet With a Bibliophile) (Jen_thebibliophile) | 300 comments Hi Hannah! Sorry for the super late welcome! I hope you love the rest of high school, I can definitely say I didn't enjoy any of it, but I'm glad you are.

Right now I'm really into fantasy fiction all sub-genre's thus related. Hope you have fun in the group!
