We are in our own little world... Of book talk.
Hey all :)I'm a 22 year old law student at university at the moment, finish forever in like a week, and so in between that love reading pretty much anything [barring romance:] and particularly love horror [Stephen King:], historical and crime!
hey i thought it was my fault when this --> ":]" happened xD and that's nice, i'm reading Agatha Christie right now (well, not right now)
Welcome to the group!! Law, and I thought biology was hard.
AAAlien- yes I've read one of his; the hound of baskervilles. I need to read some more though, I loved that book! Thanks Elyssa- nice group you've got here! I've felt able to just jump right in, don't get that with many groups here. Yup, law is a pain in the ass but I think Biology is harder or just as hard!
But for some odd reason I really enjoy Biology. I think I might end up going for genetics.
Sounds way over my head lol!! I know someone doing it, couldn't even understand the title of her dissertation!!

Hi everyone, my name's Heather. I'm 25, getting my English degree, live in Louisville, KY. I love to read and write, the two activities constantly vying for my attention. I'm also a big traveler, and like Elyssa (in your first post on this thread about Thailand), I too have a foreign country that is the home in my heart--Ireland. That is the place I belong. When I retire (I'm a law enforcement dispatcher) I'm moving across the big pond and shacking up in an Irish cottage. Until that time, twenty years from now!, I'm planning on visiting at least every two years, if not every year.
Looking forward to being a part of this group. My reads are very diverse.
Welcome, the bandwagon pulls over for only the best.
Travel and other countries just adds so much character to your life. I don't know what I would do with out travel. America is pretty isolated and all of our international news is buffered for us. Almost, like China. I wish you well, when we retire we can visit each other.

Hello there :). Glad to join your project, Elyssa!I'm 19 years old, on break from Sarah Lawrence College and I live [and have lived most of my life:] in Israel. I suppose it's redundant to say that I'm a bookworm in every sense, but it's the truth.
Thanks for joining. Grab a book and dive right on in. We are a friendly group.
Hi all! I'm Caitlin! I'm 22 years old, married to a pretty great guy, and mother to a one year old little boy. I recently re-enrolled in school after a three-year hiatus, so I've been too busy to read as much as I'd like. Really, it's just a form of self-discipline, as I know that if I start reading for pleasure, I won't stop (and thereby neglect my schoolwork). Of course, it hasn't stopped me from continually purchasing books :). Luckily, I have a very understandng husband. I live in Louisville, KY, which is about as good as it gets in Kentucky, IMO. I'm planning on becoming a high school English teacher, which will allow our family to travel in the summer (my husband is an orchestra teacher). I'm new to Goodreads, and joined in an effort to find other people who care about books as much as I do. I joined this group because it's an awesome idea! I hope you do well in your class (or did well, maybe?)!
Thanks for joining and I hope that this group can offer what you are looking for.
Yes, It was a did. I got a A in the project. I'm trying to think of how to re-read the group info. I want the message to be clear as to why I started the group.
I'm a single mother of three and go to school for biology so I know about the self-discipline and neglecting the homework thing. I hope it works out for you.
Happy Reading!

Hi everyone,
my name is Ginny, am 16 years old and live in Germany for now.
Zakiya invited me, for which I'm grateful :)
I, like any other person in this group, love to read, and while I can read pretty much anything -even game instructions if I'm really bored and there is no book near me- but my favorite genres would be teen chick-lit, urban fantasy, paranormal and anything high school stuff(=YA). I read fast and love to re-read books.
I think that's all for now.
