I'm not so sure he's actually insane. He's just evil. And making soooooooooooooo much money off of the perpetuation of ignorance. So much money. He could be insane though, too. I often find it hard to believe that televangelists actually believe their own bullshit. But it's possible.

Well, actually Robertson has said the kind same stuff about other natural disasters. Jerry Falwell said 9/11 was punishment for tolerating homosexuals, etc. They're more or less equal opportunity bigoted morons.
