It was frightening by how consumed I was, and you know I love my gym. I couldn't get my butt to the gym for weeks if my life was depend on it. That said, I look forward to finish her series and get my hand on Lord John too....just hope my husband and kids won't miss me too much, lol.
Finished
. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Onto the next book,

I wouldnt say that it was that much of a cliff hanger. It could have been much more of one if she had ended it a couple of chapters earlier.
Half way through and really enjoying
. Anyone have any other books that are similar in feel to this one?

Denise Nanna wrote: "Half way through and really enjoying

Just finished
...I was a little disappointed with it though...I think all the suspects were too similar and were introduced at the same time and it made it hard for me to keep them all straight.Just starting
...hoping I like it better...the blurb sounds good anyway...

Trying to get through
by the weekend, if I can steal the kindle away from my hubby. Started
since I just finished the 1st one and really enjoyed it. It confused me at first but I'm on track with it now, and it is looking good. Really want to get through this series to start her fairy series.
Has anyone read Gardella Vampire Chronicles? The 1st book is
I picked all of these up Thursday while I was out and was wondering if they are any good? Also for those of you who have read
were are you getting it. I went to Barnes & Nobles and they didn't have it? I really wanted to get to reading it since everyone is raving about it.

I enjoyed the Gardella Vampire Chronicles. I really liked the ending of the series!
I got 50 Shades of Grey as an ebook from B&N . If you have an iphone you can sign up for nook or kindle without having to get the actual kindle or nook.

Yes, I will read the others for sure. In spite of not being as good as the BDB books, it still got me hooked and I finished it in two days. :)

I really liked it too! Not quite as much sexiness as I'm used to, but still good. And I think the novella
e-book is free on Amazon. At least it was a few weeks ago. :)
I usually always finish a series before I begin a new one, but for some reason, I got tired of the Guild Hunter series the 3rd book in... I'm going to finish it, but I needed a break. The same thing happened to me during the Mercy Thompson series, so I'm in the middle of
&
, but I'm actually reading
.

I really liked the lead character...Jim??? (It's been awhile) and he gets even more interesting soon.

P.A., To be honest I can understand not "getting into" them and I can't really put my finger on what it was that I liked so much. I think I just really like JR's writing and that was enough for me. I probably thought they were going to be 'more' connected to BDB (and maybe that's what throws a lot of ppl off) but instead I just got into the new storyline and went with it. :)

Me neither... I read Covet & thought it was ok, but no where near as good as BDB. I keep saying that I'm going to read the other two, but just can't bring myself to do it when there are other books out there that I'd rather read.
I don't know what it is I didn't like but I tried the first book twice and stopped a few chapters in both times. Weird because I love her BDB series and I really wanted to like the angels but I just didn't. The writing wasn\t bad I was just bored with it.

Well, I don't think her angels series will be able to be as good as her BDB series is but it is worth a shot. I liked Jim too, but the romance part was just so fast and had little development through out the story and the villain seemed far to easy to beat even if there's still more books to come out. All things considered, I liked it.
The Angels were a little difficult when I first started but then I tried to read them for themselves with no comparison or hope for an intertwining of the worlds and that made me look at it more fairly.

to get hooked but I'm really into it now.I'm reading

& surprisingly, I really enjoyed it. I couldn't put it down, so thank goodness it was a short read. I had never heard of the book before, but saw a couple of people comment on the book earlier in this discussion, so I thought I'd give it a try... So glad I did.
Wrapped up By A Thread ~ Jennifer Estep. Book 6 in the Elemental Assassin series.5 stars and not enough adjectives to describe just how fantastic I think this series is.
Jennifer Estep is one of THE best urban fantasy writers and I'm thrilled that she shares her gift and talent with readers everywhere. :)

Uh, yeah, not going to happen :)"
I was taken aback by the thickness of the book too, but you know it's a great find when you don't want it to end...no matter how thick the book was. And everytime someone mention Outlander, you remember exactly what happened in every book, every detail, event, dialogues... It's truly is an epic not to be missed.
Maybe that's why I'm hesitated starting another D.Gabaldon's read. I was so lost in her world and didn't want to wake up. Nothing was getting done around me until I finished the massive read and then the Jamie withdrawal happened. See my dilema? one word, crazy...
