Crazy4more (lan-ni) | 3072 comments Finished Claiming the Highlander (Brotherhood/MacAllister, #2) by Kinley MacGregor and just loved it! I know...another book Crazy is crazy about...but I really loved this one. I even missed gym, volunteering, piano practice...I just had to finish it and finished it in record time too. I was giggling and drawn to it within the first chapter, then I was in tears the next, great pace with meaningly plot.

I'm clear of highlander books for tonight so I'll be tackling 4 Kate Daniels novellas this weekend, woohoo.

Bemidji (ehleighen) | 39 comments Hubby and I just finished the Fever series, read them all in a row. Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning Bloodfever (Fever, #2) by Karen Marie Moning Faefever (Fever, #3) by Karen Marie Moning Dreamfever (Fever, #4) by Karen Marie Moning Shadowfever (Fever, #5) by Karen Marie Moning . LOVED it!! At the end of one of the books, it mentioned the film rights have been bought. I sure hope it gets made into a movie! IF they pick the right characters that is. How about Dwayne The Rock Johnson for Barrons? He's a big yummy beast!!!!!! lol.

Anyone try her Highlander series? I saw someone saying they weren't good, so I'm a little hesitant to try it.

Hi, yea my husband and I read together. Well, he likes me reading to him, so I usually read to him whenever we are driving around town. We just started Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost , which I think he's actually enjoying it more than me with how much he's laughing. And then I read stuff on my own too obviously.

Yea, I suppose it is kinda hard seeing The Rock playing Barrons with the roles he's done in the past, but I was trying to think of who's out there is huge and gorgeous. He pulled off the long hair in The Scorpion King and he does scowl well too. lol. I just don't want a repeat of going to the first Twilight movie and being like, you picked HIM to be the most beautiful person in the world?? Although he did kinda grow on me when he's on Leno or with that Water for Elephants movie, but still.

I think it really depends on the person. I went back and read the first Highlander after reading Fever and didn't like it all...I was told they don't start getting good until #5 or so....but then I've seen others on here that loved the first one so I guess you don't really know until you try it!

or switch to TV.

I don't have time to reread them before the new one comes out. We should start a thread where people can remind us where the plot lines left off.
