What are you reading?
Okay I am starting the wedding.... but what comes first the wedding or the bride???

The Bride:-) And they're all fabulous!
I am soooo excited to start. I have both opened and saw that they both have Alec and so I wanted to make sure. Thank you!!!!! I love Julie Garwood!!!!!!!!!

You're in good company there!

Im with you on that Melanie!!! Loved it though. I though she ended the series really well.

Ugh . . .I need a vacation so I can read!! LOL!!

werent u on our LK book read for Jan?? that was the book we discussed. i thought the The Wedding was even better!! i loved the laird series!:)

LOL.
What can I say? I watched the movie first (enjoyed it, btw) and curious to see how the book is. Definitely a short read for me (excluding the textbook readings) so...

That sometimes happens, especially with a schedule like yours (wow!):-)
I usually start going into withdrawal and try to fit in a couple hours of reading after 3-4days:-D Did you manage to read anything yesterday?

I did!! I read

Good for you! I just read my first PC book(Hard Evidence), but looks like I need to get to the McKinnons, lol
just started Devil's Embrace. I hope its good....

looove the McKinnons, almost as much as a MacKeltar!

REALLY??? Man, I have such a thing for the MacKeltars!!!!!! I'll definitely have a look-see at the McKinnons then!:-D

Defintely do!
New author for me . . .Lynn Veihl

I finished

How did you like The Wedding? I just reread it this weekend too :)

I loved it!! i reviewed it.. :)

Not soft- you need a bit of a violence warning really!!

Just finished first one. I'm liking it! I don't normally go for the vampire stories.
Starting

The book I'm reading now The Rake, is by the same author and some of the characters from the Fallen Angel series showed up!

Oh, DG, I'm SO happy to hear that!!! I was wondering if it was part of a series, now I see it is. I'm dying to know more about the other Fallen Angels.

Oh, DG, I'm SO happy to hear that!!! I was wondering if it..."
If you are one of those people that MUST read in order you'll be very relieved to know that you are starting on book one of the fallen angels!!
I really enjoyed the whole series - the last one was very sweet- One Perfect Rose. From a different series The Bartered Bride is about Michael's (from Thunder and Roses) step daughter. I really enjoyed that one- the hero is just the most perfect gentleman.

LOL, I noticed you were reading it and was like NO! NO!
This book gives up everything that happened in the first book (which was better in my opinion.)

GAH!
But you should be happy in knowing that I love this book, too! I'm 2 for 2 with your Secret Santa recommendations! *hugs*

Wait, Wait- isn't there a moratorium on buying books for you young lady?
I'd lend you mine but it's way too far to post. I've been eeking my way through MJP as I enjoy most of her books so much. I have a funny feeling though that she didn't even write the fallen angel series in order and I don't think it's critical to read them in order.

ROFLOL!

I just spent the last 3hrs putting away the books I've read in the last 6 months (a couple hundred!) and therefore reorganizing two of my bookshelves so that one of them is only TBR books (I had to box up all my textbooks for the last 4 yrs... no wonder my back was always aching! They weigh a ton!).. All while rereading

ahahahha!!!!!!!!!! u make the challenge AND the rules!! how convenient! u lil mischief!!

I really liked the parts about Henrietta herself and the scientific/ethical parts (although a bit simplified), but I didn't like the structure of the book and how the main focus of it seemed to be the author's attempt to get information out of the family.
It still makes for an interesting read.
