In my case, audiobooks are exactly like books. I'm able to immerse myself in the story and forget about the narrator (if they do a really good job, that is) and see only the images and hear the dialogue. If there are different accents and the narrator does them well, it brings an incredible depth to the story because it's not the same thing to read that somebody has an accent than to actually hear it.

For me audiobooks are slower than reading a book. But for people that are very slow readers, they may be faster.

If I remember correctly, she is a Montgomery and when introduced to his family she mentioned her Uncle who married the princess as relatives to show that she was "of title" or something.

It has been YEARS since I've read this though and I could be mistaken!! LOL!

Isn't this the one where she travels to England with a fuddy duddy fiance and his daughter then somehow brings whats his face forward in time and then somehow goes back in time with him?

I have enjoyed the first two so I know I will like this one too. With all the other books to read it's taking be awhile to get through this series.

LOL!

I think it is just the two books, for now at least. They are both in the anthology Wild West Boys by Lorelei James

Thanks, DG. I bought 1. I wonder if the email address I send it to has to be the one my kindle is registered to?

message 2578: by D.G. (new)

D.G. Once you get the gift card, you can apply it to your Amazon account even if you're not going to buy anything today. Then it stays there and it applies the value for anything you purchase in the future (I've done that.)

message 2579: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments I wish I could buy more!!! I know when someone buys you an ebook on amazon, if they send it to an address where your kindle is NOT registered, you have to call amazon and have it changed. I wonder if the gift card is the same.

message 2580: by D.G. (new)

D.G. I didn't know that! But then, I'll buy most of my own books. :)

message 2581: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments Yep! I have my kindle registered at an email address that I only use for business stuff. A friend asked for my email address, but I didn't know why, so I gave her my friend email address. Turns out she wanted to send me a book and then had to contact amazon and have them fix it so it applied to my kindle address.
