((*picked a bad time to leave*))
Caleb saw a few more meaningless symbols in his cup, finally gave up. I don't actually care that much... He'd only half-heard Lyra and Akrisios' conversation, but when he looked back to them he saw that Lyra looked worried. He leaned over. "You okay?" He asked quietly after the professor walked away.

((Eeek. You guys post so much when I'm gone.))
Medea glanced at the other students, watching their reactions to the tea leaves. Some seemed pleased, or upset, and some didn't seem to take it seriously.

Medea shifted in her seat, bored. She leaned in to listen to Lyra and Caleb, wanting to hear what others had gotten. She wasn't too pysched about HER tea leaves, but at least they weren't bad.
Caleb nodded. "Yeah, it's cool," he said. "And something that was either a skull or a pineapple. Don't know which." He looked at her for a moment. You're not fine.
Avery watched Caleb and the other Slytherins, holding back a sigh.

Medea turned to Ivi. "Well," she said, tilting her tea cup, "I got the arm, the myrtle tree, and the perching bird, which means, apparently, that "new plans which bring about a meeting with someone who will become all the world to you." Medea rolled her eyes. "What did you get?"
Caleb shrugged. "No idea," he said sincerely. "I'm guessing the skull is bad." He watched her sketch with a puzzled expression in his eyes, but made no effort to see what it was. "It would be great if you could tell me. If you want to, I mean."

"Lizard and a pointed cap. It suppose to mean An expected visitor is not to be trusted." Ivi replied.
"Hmmm," Medea said, pursing her lips. "That's not very happy. Of course, I have a second thing, but I'm not sure what it is." She scrutinized the cup. "See? I think it's either the sickle - pain and sorrow from someone you love - or the scythe - foreshadowing of grief and pain." Medea laughed, but her eyes were not amused. "What a load of rubbish," she said, keeping her voice light.

"That's what I think. Both my sisters have taken this class and none of their futures found in this class have come true." Ivi replied.
"Ah, ok then. I bet they're right," Medea replied. They're just tea leaves...of course they won't come true. She smiled in amusement, appearing for all the world like she couldn't care less.
Caleb laughed. "That'll be interesting," he said. But he wasn't actually pleased. That sounds a bit strange. "So, if I put them all together, I'm going to get an answer to a question in a strange way, while getting an indication of wealth and presents, but there will be danger in my path, and that will make me happy." He shook his head. "Weird." He was extremely curious about what had unsettled her so much, but he knew it would make her angry to ask. Maybe she'll choose to tell me later. ((Sorry, I had to babysit while my mom ran to the elementary school.))
((Back for a bit!))
Medea nodded at Ivi, then turned, sitting back in her seat. She was suddenly very bored with it all. "Well, this sure has lost any appeal it had," she remarked to Avery.

((Oh well. I'll just post... something.))
Anni stared at her cup, wondering whether or not she was sure... They looked exactly like they did in the book, but also very... blobbyish as well. Besides, how accurate could it be?

Akrisios frowned while Caleb and Lyra talked. She didn't seem very happy with the attention, so he turned his to Anni."Hey, Gryffindor! What did you get, Anni?"

((PUDDING!))
Medea glanced up at Akrisios' call and smiled faintly without humor. She sighed and lowered her head, her long, red-brown hair cascading over her shoulder. She peeked at Avery through the corner of her eyes. Why wouldn't he talk to her right now? It was rather frustrating to find someone you thought was a friend and then have him ignore you.

Akrisios pushed his hands off the table and stood,"I'll be back in a minute, 'kay Lyra?" He wasn't sure if she had heard, she seemed to be in her one little world at the moment and he wasn't sure if he should have bothered her.He walked to Anni's table and leaned against it."Hey."

Akrisios sat back down in his seat next to Lyra and Caleb."I'm hungry. I-uh, you didn't eat lunch, did you?"He blushed and put his hand behind his shoulder."Sorry about that."
"Pie?"He raised an eyebrow."Don't know how anyone could hate it."He leaned back."I don't eat meat. Period."
"I just never have...liked eating dead things. I don't like killing animals either, they're relatively defenseless against a wizard or witch. It's horrible what some people do. Now people, everyone does at least one thing in their life that warrants death. That is our penalty for our sins. Some deserve one sooner than later."
((Not really, he hasn't done anything terrible, he practices on centaurs because they're relatively human and people do mostly deserve what's coming for them))
((Haha. Yup!))
Medea twisted her ring and sighed impatiently. "Is this class eer going to get on with it?" she muttered. She took a deep breath to calm down. It wasn't easy, though; it seemed like everyone was having fun but her.

Akrisios nodded."I've done horrible things, but I'm making up for them. I'm going to cleanse the wizarding world, starting with this school."
"I believe I can. I watch people, a lot.Kind of weird, but having the power of life and death in your hands, it's....."He cleared his throat."Well, I have a list."
((Lol, yeah, the butt went to see it without me so we downloaded it on Limewire(why waste your money on iTunes?) and he put it on a dvd))
"There are more than a few ways to cleanse. I'm not going to do anything."Yet. He shook his head, eyes rolling."I'm not a Hufflepuff. They can't even cast spells like that. Take you for instance, you're a strong witch, but you couldn't cast an Unforgivable. You have to really mean it, someone making fun of you isn't going to give you they power to torture or kill them. It has to be something worse, you have to want to see them struggle, to cry out, to die."
