Oh, and forgot to say... Everyone please feel free to add me as a friend. I'm slow in catching all your great reviews, so add me so that I can start seeing your comments!
1. My nick name is Bee :-).2. Favorite book: I love all her historicals (I have read them all, including the series set in New Orleans, all except Again the Magic). Especially love the Hathaway Series, but if I had to choose one book it would be Mine Until Midnight.
3. Favorite couple: For me, hands down, Amelia Hathaway and Cam Rohan. After that it is hard for me to choose, I really love them all, but Annabelle Peyton and Simon Hunt from Secrets of a Summer Night come in second.
Favorite heroine: Amelia Hathaway and Annabelle Peyton
Favorite hero: Cam Rohan (love him!!!) and Derik Craven
4. Why I love Lisa Kleypas: Her characters are so passionate. She writes in a way that you fall in love with the characters. She also develops a deep emotional connection between the hero and heroine in just the right way. I also like that her books are not always the same type of story. She has books dealing with gamblers, publishers, siblings, a group of friends trying to get married, keeps you really interested in her books. I also LOVE that she continues in series, where one book follows another. Like the Wallflower & Hathaway Series.
So I have read all of Lisa Kleypas' historical books (with the exception of Again the Magic - wouldn't download on my nook :-(, but working on fixing that. I feel like I am going through LK withdrawl. I have also read all of Julia Quinn's books. Any suggestions on other historical romance authors that I would love? Should I venture on to LK's contemporaries? I am a little hesitant because I really love historicals.

Thanks for the welcome. I actually just started Guilty Pleasures, this is my first Guhrke book and so far so good :-).
I don't think I've actually read that one yet! I've read her girl bachelor series and thought it was great!!

4. What do you like about Lisa Kleypas books? I am always drawn into the story within in the first few pages. The characters are very well done and I always feel like I've known a character for a long time after finishing up one of LK's books. And the relationships she writes, romantic/friendship/family are very satisfying and each are special in their own way.

4. What do I like about Lisa Kleypas books? First off, her writing is spectacular! Secondly, she writes diverse characters who have their own distinct personalities who I have come to love! She's definitely one of my favourite all-time writers!

Hi Annie! I just joined not too long ago and I love it. This group is awesome.I love Evie & Sebastian too. Sebastian is most def super sexy, there is something so hot about bad boy turned good ;-). But Cam will always be my #1!

Didn't introduce myself, did I? Agh! Here it goes:1. Punya
2. I love all LK books but most fav one has to be Dreaming of You.
3. Same as no#2 actually, I just can't choose between the couples but just for the sake of saying, Derek and Sara ... :D
4. Her heroes/heroines are fab! The her plots/storylines/settings is almost always perfection. Prose structure is just about flawless, I never ever get bored or feel a headache coming while reading her books (maybe except for Where Passion Leads but it had its reasons and I don't care for those anymore lolz!). Finally, the emotional journey of the characters (h/h), the way they are, the angst and all that.
I've said it before, don't mind saying it again that she's one of the few authors who can make me laugh, cry and sigh at the same time without losing the flow. I'm so glad she was the 1st author I read from today's romance genre.
Bonus: Why I joined this group? ... Like all of you guys, I like to scream, shout, whine, fuss, gush etc. etc. about LK and her novels, her heroes and this is just abt the perfect place for all those activities! :p hahahaha

1. I'm Tara2. I've sat here forever trying to come up with my favorite and I can't so I'll just keep going...but I love the Wallflowers, Hathaways, & Travis series.
3. The couples in Sugar Daddy and Blue eyed devil. Don't want to say their names because it might ruin the end if you haven't read them yet!
4. I tend to lose interest in a lot of books but they way Lisa writes keeps me wanting more of her books!

3. my favorite has to be Leo Hathaway and Catherine Marks. Love them!
4. I love the reality of the romance and the comedic timing. perfection all around. The characters are all so compelling and wonderful.

2. Fave books: hmmm, if picking just one, I think I'd say Mine 'til Midnight -- why...? Probably because it was my first Kleypas book that intrigued me when I grabbed it off the grocery store shelf. I hadn't read much romance and/or historicals then and I fell in love. I love the Wallflowers, Suddenly You, Bow Street runners... well, it'd be easier to list my non-favorites. ;)
3. Hero: I gotta say, it's still Cam Rohan. It may sound cheesy, but his character reminds me of my hubs... easy-going, laid back, humorous and teasing, yet straightforward and quite strong (emotionally, physically, mentally). And Cam's a hawt gypsy... gotta love it.
4. Heroine: That's more of a toughie for me... Her heroines are all so awesome. I think I'm going to go with Evie. I loved that despite her shyness, she took charge of her "hopeless" situation and changed the whole direction of her life. In fact, that can be said about so many of Kleypas' heroines... Though they may have endured hardship for a short time or a lifetime, they consciously choose to make a change. I'm not a big believer in leaving things "to fate", so I've enjoyed reading her women of action.
5. Couple: I'll stick with my fave hero and say Cam and Amelia.
6. Why do I like Kleypas' books? Well, I think I spoke a lot if it in the heroine explanation... I also like that she steps out of the molds of the period with heroes in trade, aristocrats in industry, SMART and CAPABLE heroines...
