2) Married by Morning, Love in the Afternoon, and Tempt Me At Twilight. Could you tell I've only read the Hathaway series so far (well, and the first of the Wallflower series that I've just finished yesterday)?
3) Leo and Catherine! I can't help it, I'm such a sucker for the "we hate each other, nope -- we love each other" relationship. It also doesn't hurt, of course, that Leo is, well, Leo. Which is awesome.
4) It's hard to find something I don't like about her books! They're romantic, fun, and such a joy to read. And reading a series about a family, such as the Hathaways, really made me feel a part of it -- like I was privy to their secrets and lives. It was so sad to end the series and, thus, my time with the family! I can't wait to read more!

Got to be Evie and Sebastian from Devil In Winter.

4. What do you like about Lisa Kleypas books?
I love the way she transports you back in history and drops you in the Regency/Georgian world. Her books are passionate and funny with feisty strong females and classic heros that you fall in love with!

I am slowly collecting all her books and can't wait to the collection complete so I can just sit there and read them all.

St. Vincent! I want that man's clone. Justin Vallerand is a close second. Hardy Cates ties closely with the other two....any of the 3 I'd take. Leo Hathaway's humor I simply love. Heroines...well Haven Travis of course, Beatrix Hathaway, Lillian Bowman. I Love Westcliff and Lillian and Leo and Catherine as couples.
4. What do you like about Lisa Kleypas books?
I don't know how she does it.....I think there's only one book I really haven't liked of hers....her story-telling, language, characters, humor....she has a rare talent and gift in the world of romance books.

Thank you for the welcome! I am already loving reading the posts...I'm sooo behind! Bekah, I really didn't like Prince of Dreams. That's the one I can honestly say I won't read again....I am not totally sure why...could have been some of the subject matter. THe abuse. Wasn't a big fan of Sugar Daddy either, but it's easily read-againable. Not so Prince of Dreams for me.

I haven't read Prince of Dreams yet. But Sugar Daddy was a 5 star read for me. I just adored Gage...and when I say adored, I'm vastly understating the depth of my feeling for that man! :-)

Hello - You are probably in a majority on this dislike. I liked Prince of Dreams myself- I prefer her darker/more strongly plotted books. I didn't like either of the Capitol Theatre books though.

LOL well I'm glad I'm not alone, although I can see why POD would appeal to some people as well. I don't know...I like how she weaves in the social issues of the time period (which much of the time are same issues in modern times) without being crass....but maybe it's my work offline that gave me the heavie-jeavies with that book. Hard to say.

I do a dual work.....I work in an adoption program and am a crisis advocate after-hours for a local sexual assault crisis center. I guess I've seen the effects such horrible abuse can have on people....so I get kinda icky if I read about it.
