Hi, new to the site and group

This is my favorite genre, too. So I'll add you! The best thing about having friends on this site is comparing what books you like or dislike.

Sarah - to add a friend, just click on the "Add as a Friend" button under the persons personal info at the top of their profile.

I also love this genre and reading/books are an addiction for me LOL. Great to have you here! I will add you as friend.
Anyone in the group that wants to friend me is welcome to. :o) I went from only have 6 friends for 18 months to having LOTS now. But that was YZ's fault. One of the challenges was that you had to read books off of others in the groups lists. So there was a mad flurry of everyone wailing "Friend me, friend me." So, I've been MUCH more open to the whole friends concept since then. So--feel free.

That's how I managed to get friends through that reading challenge, everybody feel free to add me as well!

If you don't mind, I will send you friend request--thanks!

Sure, would love to add you. Sending a request to you.

Cheers!

You are welcome to send me a friend request...I don't have any friends :-(
Jaime, I own the first 2 books the Offspring Series...heard about them on Amazon...they are still in my TBR pile though. When does the next come out??? That is you right??

not many of my friends read either. and if they do they don't read as fast or as much as I do.
you can be my friend too!!!
:)

Melodee, I too have reread the Twilight Saga! Twilight is my go-to comfort book (LOL). If you liked Twilight, I just finished Intertwined by Gena Showalter that was quite good. I am currently reading Born of Night by Sherillyn Kenyon, who is another one of my favorites. Would love to add you as a friend. I will send a request.

just look through the posts about what people are currently reading, the group bookshelf, and other peoples book lists. feel free to add me....I just picked up 14 books from the library today *grin*

THANKS I LOVED TO HAVE YOU AS A FRIEND. I'LL GO FIND THOSE BOOK THAT YOU SUGGESTED. THANKS ALOT, I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THEM.

GREAT, I'LL DO THAT. IS THERE ANY CERTAIN BOOK THAT YOU HAVE READ LATELY THAT YOU COULDN'T PUT DOWN? THE REASON WHY I ASK, IS THAT I LIVE DEEP IN THE COUNTRY. THE NEAREST LIBARY IS AS BIG AS THE CORNER GAS SATION. SO, ANY BOOK THAT I GET WILL BE INVESTMENT THAT I WOULD HAVE TO BUY THOURGH THE INTERNET OR WHEN I FINALLY MAKE IT TO THE CITY TO BUY ONE FROM THE BOOK STORE.

I'll have to think about it....I read so many that its tough to pin point one really good one.

If anyone has any books they would reccomend for me that would also be great....
I loved twilight, love Sookie Stackhouse so anything along them lines would be good.

Sure I don't mind. :) Everyone feel free to add me.

Happy reading.
Hello all! I'm new to this group, fairly new to this site, I wandered over from the Kindle Smut group.
Paranormal romance/urban fantasy is one of my favorite genres, although I do read alot of other romance and women's fiction.

Hi Lisa
I'm just finishing up a series called Monere:Children of the moon by Sunny
First in the series is Mona Lisa Awakening
I'm absolutely loving it and would recommend it to everyone.

I'm pretty new here too. Please feel free to add me.
I'm just reading a compilaton book called Love Bites.
Happy reading.......

Just a FYI: Amazon.com does have free shipping deals normally. Usually when you buy $50+ on "select items", they ship for free. So that might be a good option for you.
This is also why I read on a Kindle. Well, honestly I'm just lazy. I live near Baltimore, MD...we have bookstores everywhere. But buying books from the comfort of your home is nice.
But then again, if money is an issue (as it is for many now a days) the library is still the best option.
You could also look into bookswaps. I think there's something like that on Goodreads.

Hi Lisa! Here are some of the books I've read recently that I've really liked.
J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series is really great. Vampires.
Lynn Viehl also writes the Darkyn series. Vampires.
Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series is LONG (what are we at, 15 books in this series?) but I really enjoyed it.
Karen Marie Moning's Fever series is one of my favorites. I absolutly LOVE it, and the last book comes out sometime this fall.
You could always go down the Twilight route with
Stephenie Meyer. They are okay, but I liked The Host probably more.
Going down the Young Adult route, Melissa Marr writes the Wicked Lovely series. I liked that series a bunch, and there are still 2 more books to be released.
P.C. Cast writes the House of Night series for young adults. I really loved this series. Cast also writes more adult paranormal fantasy books, so they are also good to check out.
And I haven't read anything by Gena Showalter, but the books are waiting on my Kindle for me to read.
Right now, I'm reading Kelley Armstrong's "The Summoning", also young adult.
Good luck!
Probably my favorite YA series (paranormal) is Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy. I also really love her Succubus series, which is definitely NOT YA.
