Angela(demonsangel) Fitzgerald (demonsangel) | 47 comments I have read Eternal Hunger (Mark of the Vampire #1) by Laura Wright Eternal Kiss (Mark of the Vampire, #2) by Laura Wright two out of the Mark of the Vampire series. I am finishing the third book Eternal Captive (Mark of the Vampire, #3) by Laura Wright book in the series. Even though there's one more book left to complete the series I probably won't read it. Its about a character that hasn't really involved in he series much. I. Ion't know yet. I can say that I have really enjoyed the series but others may not. I know I've said before there's a great deal of cursing and very explicit and vulgar sex scenes for some. I just run and take cold showers, a lot.LOL.

I'm glad you enjoyed Fury of Fire. I recently tried that one, but it went dnf. It just smacked of BDB with dragons for me.

I quit after book 6. Now that I have had some space lol I have been thinking of reading Phury's book again. It could have been an emotional decision LOL. JR Ward really is a good writes but she kind of had a lot of plot lines and that did not always tie together.

Phury's book was my least favorite. As for Ward having a lot of plot points, she does. I realized it more when I re-read the series. There would be a small blurb in say book 2 that wouldn't pan out until later in book 5. She is so subtle about things, that is makes the re-reading fun.

I do not think so Kim Harrison seems to really like Rachel lol I am not sure Charlaine Harris has always liked Sookie. Remember how she would be at deaths door in every book in the beginning lmao

Darcy wrote: "I never thought I would say this, but I am glad that this series is coming to an end."

I totally agree I used to follow her blog and read all of the snippets I loved this series but now...

Alisa I just did a quick re-read of A Touch of Crimson (Renegade Angels, #1) by Sylvia Day so I could read A Hunger So Wild (Renegade Angels, #2) by Sylvia Day . I really liked Hunger. One of my favorite things is the super Alpha werewolf & Elijah in this book is one of my favorites ever. He's cold as ice......until he's not. Elijah losing it are going to be some of my favorite scenes of all time. I also read A Caress of Wings (Renegade Angels, #1.5) by Sylvia Day which is a novella that corresponds w/ Hunger. It was just meh.... The story plot is good but the author doesn't devote enough time to it & just throws it all together.

I like BDB but I have to say Phury's book was one of my least favorites of the series. There are actually a lot of other story lines in this book that are good but Phury's story itself was not interesting to me. I found myself skimming through him to get to what the other characters were doing.

Angela(demonsangel) Fitzgerald (demonsangel) | 47 comments I finished Fury of Ice (Dragonfury, #2) by Coreene Callahan and now I'm reading Fury of Seduction (Dragonfury, #3) by Coreene Callahan these aren't my typical reads but they are OK. I'm having some trouble with this one. I've had to restart over atleast five times after making it all the way to chapter 16. I'm waiting on all my. favorite authors to release new books in 2013. Now I'm looking for books that are long and are series. I don't care much for the small books unless its a novella to a series I love. Although I might have to change my ways and start reading all these ebooks I have.

That is what I thought too. I just did a re-read, liked it better than the first time, but it still is my most unfavorite one of the series.

Sonia (darktalynn) Finished Gunmetal Magic (Kate Daniels World, #1) by Ilona Andrews . That means no more Kate Daniels to read. Nothing left, not even Currant's POV escaped. I even read Julie's short-story Magic Tests that was part of the anthology An Apple for the Creature by Charlaine Harris .

I feel a huge Kate-hole in my life now... I'll probably read Fever series next... I'm not that a big fan of Mac but I'm gonna give her another chance with Bloodfever (Fever, #2) by Karen Marie Moning , she better not waste it :o)

My problem with Darkfever was that Mac seemed so blond and pink barbie girl, and her speech... gods, that really annoyed me.

But, everybody says that she evolvs and grows into the series, so, I'm starting to get curious
