"You keep telling yourself that," Alek said.
Susannah ended up at sabrinas house, and it wasn't long before alek got a text from Sabrina. 'what's going on?' she asked.
'why's Susannah at my house? she won't answer my questions'
'Its nothing,' Alek responded. 'I'll come get her.' Then he ran to her house and was there about a minute later.
Shirley was the one to answer the door before Sabrina could get there.
"Hi, is Sabrina here?" Alek asked politely.
"yes she is" Shirley said. she turned and called, "sweetie! there's some young cutie at the door for you!" as she walked inside.Sabrina stepped out a few moments later.
"So cutie huh?" Alek asked, leaning against the doorframe.
Sabrina shrugged." not the word I would have used." she said. "my mom thinks everything's cute."
"Oh? And what would you have used?"
"something else. " was all Sabrina said.
Alek raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Care to share?"
"not really." Sabrina said. "so what are you doing here?"
"I came to get Susannah," Alek said. "She's having some issues right now, and I'm trying to help her out."
"that's the thing, she doesn't seem very inclined to leave." Sabrina said. "hey Susannah!" she called into the house. and Susannah was there in a few seconds.
Alek crossed his arms. "You know it's rude to walk out when someone is offering you a place to stay the night," he said.
"I thought I'd made it clear enough that I didn't trust you. why would I stay with you?" Susannah said.
"Why because I told you the truth about you and Jacob?" Alek rolled his eyes. "If you don't believe me just ask Sabrina."
Susannah looked to Sabrina who shook her head. "I don't even know what you guys are talking about."
"Never mind," Alek said. "Susannah I need you to come with me now."
"I'll tell you when we get there," Alek told her.
Alek was surprised May how easily she agreed, but didn't show it. "Let's go then."
"See you later Sabrina," Alek said.
"bye" Sabrina said, confused as she closed the door."she likes you, you know." Susannah commented as she walked, skipping over the cracks in the sidewalk.
"I know," Alek said, "you've told me before."
Susannah shrugged. she didn't know That.
"Remember, when you were yelling at me on the beach three days ago," Alek said.
"Trying to kill her," he shrugged.
"why would you do that?" Susannah asked.
"I'm a vampire," Alek said, "and she smells delicious."
"is our conversation done yet?" Susannah said.
Susannah sighed. "Then what is it you want?" she asked.
"I have to take you somewhere to have the conversation I want to," Alek said.
Susannah shrugged, and kept walking.
Alek had told Jacob about the spell he had done with Susannah, and had come up with the plan that Jacob kept running over again and again while he sat waiting in Susannah's room. Alek held out his hand to Susannah, "It's a long walk do why don't we just teleport."
Susannah eyed him suspiciously, but placed her hand in his.
