Susannah shrugged. "Won't stop me from trying."

"I bet it wouldn't," Alek said, lightly nibbling on her neck.
Susannah started to tremble from his proximity. He was too close. His teeth were too close.
Alek smirked and nibbled a bit harder.
The trembling increased as Susannah struggled to keep a clear head and not completely lose it.
Alek chuckled and pulled away. "I'm not going to bite you," he said. "I was just having fun scaring you."
Susannah glared at him as she tried to stop the trembling.
Alek smiled and kissed her throat roughly.
Susannah moaned softly, pretending like she was supposed to.
"I got the books," Rebecca said happily as she showed up.Alek smiled and got out of the water. He took the books from her and started flipping through the pages.
Susannah didn't move from the water, still very uncomfortable in the swimsuit Alek had put her in.
Alek read a few pages then motioned for Susannah to come over.
"We're going to work on precision," Alek said not looking up from the page. He waved his hands and a stack of cardboard sheets appeared. "I'm going to throw these in the air and you are going to burn a perfect circle in the center. I don't want the whole thing to burn up or a large section off. I want a perfect circle directly in the circle.
Alek put the book down and used magic to lift on of the cardboard pieces into the air, then he took all magic away from it. "Fire away," he said to Susannah as it started falling
Susannah aimed and fired, but completely missed, and had to concentrate to put out the flame before it hit the grass.
"Again," Alek said raising the cardboard and letting it fall again.
Susannah tried again, only that time the only thing left to fall to the ground were ashes.
"Maybe you need some motivation," Alek said walking around behind her. He stood pressed against her back and put his hands on her waist. He squeezed lightly then whispered in her ear, "Every time you mess up I'll squeeze tighter." Then another piece of cardboard rose into the air and then began to fall.
Susannah aimed again, but the result was only a lopsided, crooked oval-thing.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk," Alek said, "too bad." Then his gripped tightened and another piece lifted and began to fall. "Again," he ordered as it fell.
Susannah tried again, but it was no better than the last time.
Alek squeezed tighter as another cardboard rose. "Pray you don't disappoint me," he whispered threateningly as the piece fell.
"Or what?" Susannah asked as she attempted to hit the board again. It was closer to the cetner, but still very lopsided.
Alek's grip tightened drastically. "That," he said. "Now do it again." Another piece of cardboard rose and fell.
When the attempt was no better than the last, Susannah asked, "How do you expect me to get this is one day?"
"I don't care how long it takes," Alek said, squeezing tighter, "but you aren't stopping until it's done." Then another piece of cardboard rose.
Susannah tried again, but she'd concentrated so hard on making the circle circular that it was completely off center.
"Again," He ordered his grasp tightening and setting up another piece.
Susannah tried again. That time the circle made it in the middle.
Alek's grip loosened somewhat. "Let's see if you can do it again," he said, preparing another cardboard.
Susannah tried again, but it was off center.
"Pity," Alek commented before his grasp became incredibly tighter. "Maybe you would be better in control of your powers if you were a vampire," he said his lips moving to her neck. "Something for me to consider while you do it again."
Susannah tried again, and while the circle was directly in the center, it was lopsided.
"Perhaps turning you would not be such a bad idea," Alek said. His grip became unbelievably tighter and he began to nibble on her neck, much harder then earlier but not enough yet to break the skin. Another piece of cardboard was lifted and dropped.
Susannah was trembling so badly, she completely missed. "I can't concentrate like that!" she said.
"Because you were doing so well before," Alek contradicted tightening his grip but he stopped nibbling on her neck. "Now do it again."
Susannah tried again, hitting the cardboard in the center, in a perfect circle.
"If you can do it two more times I'll let you go," Alek said letting his hold loosen a little.
Alek loosened his grip alittle more and set up another piece.
Susannah was able to do it one more time.
Alek let go of her waist and took a step back. "If you do it two more times without threat of harm then I'll give you a reward," he said setting up a piece of cardboard.
Susannah concentrated, and did it again.
Alek didn't comment as he set up the next one.
"You can go now," Alek said. "Go see that mutt you're so attached too."
"Really?" Susannah said excitedly. Then, in all her excitement, she did something without thinking, something she didn't think she'd ever do. She gave Alek a quick hug in thanks, then quickly left to find Jacob.
"I'll be coming for you first thing tomorrow and I don't want any issues or I'll crush his throat without a moments hesitation." Alek called after her.Jacob was on the reservation using a tree near his house as a punching bag, practicing what he planed for Alek. His knuckles were bleeding and covered in splinters but he continued to box the tree.
