Zach just shook his head, and closed his eyes tightly, not bearing to see more. When he opened them, he was in his room.

Once Zach was gone Rebecca smirked and turned around to kiss Alek. After a while Jacob stopped and out Susannah down.
Zach sat on his bed, and tried not to completely fall apart.Susannah stood up.
Jacob gently tugged on the bottom of her shirt for her to follow as he started walking.
Jacob lead them to the reservation. He left Susannah to go in through the front door and went around to the side, he turned human, climbed into the window and got on a pair of sweats.
Susannah walked into the front door.
Jacob came out of his room and wrapped his arms around her.
Jacob kissed her head. "Did you hear that while we were running?" He asked.
"Someone screaming," Jacob said. "I think it was Rebecca."
"I didn't hear anything." Susannah said. "Are you sure it was Rebecca?"
"I'm not sure but thats was what it sounded like," Jacob said.
"What do you think happened?" Susannah asked, an undertone of worry in her voice.
"I don't know," Jacob said, "but what ever it was I think it made Alek stop chasing us."
"Well if it has to do with Alek, it can't be good." Susannah said.
Jacob shook his head. "No it can't," he agreed.
"So. . .what should we do?" Susannah asked.
Jacob shook his head. "I have no idea," He said.
Susannah sighed, and ran a hand through her hair, freezing when she saw it's dull brown color, and was reminded yet again of how Alek had taken her powers.
Jacob took her hand and kissed it. "It doesn't matter," he said.
"Yes it does." Susannah disagreed. "It's not even a pretty color! And let's not add to the fact that at school on Monday, if I don't get my powers back by then, people will think I dyed it red."
"But dye doesn't come out it just two days," Jacob said. "If anything they'd think you dyed it brown."
"An ugly brown? Then they'd think I'm stupid to add insult to injury." Susannah said.
"Well he did say he'd give it back," Jacob tried.
"If I earned it." Susannah said. "That doesn't sound like it entails anything good."
"And me carrying you off probably didn't help anything," Jacob said.
"I don't think so." Susannah agreed.
Jacob pressed his head against hers. "I just don't understand is why he wants you so bad," he said.
Susannah shrugged. "I don't know." she sighed.
{{Srry I fell asleep}}"Well whatever it is maybe he won't want you now that your powers are gone," Jacob said trying to be helpful.
((its ok, so did I))Susannah shrugged. "Maybe." she said.
Proving the adage Speak of the devil and he shall appear Alek showed up with Rebecca.
"You," Alek said. A ball of light appeared in his hand and he threw it at Susannah. Once it hit, her hair began to turn red again. "You're going to need that for what I have planned."
"Now you wouldn't want to ruin the surprise," Alek said. "Now that you have your powers we will be going." He held out a hand to Susannah and Jacob despite being in human form barked.
Susannah looked at Jacob for a second, then took Alek's hand, not wanting a repeat of the last time Alek had been around Jacob.
Jacob grabbed her wrist and held tightly, but not tight enough to hurt her, with no intention of letting go. "I'm not letting you go with him," Jacob said.
"And I'm not letting him hurt you." Susannah said.
"I don't care what he does to me," Jacob said. "What I care is that nothing bad happens to you."
"I could say the same." Susannah said.
Jacob pulled her into his arms and held her as as tight as he had been holding her wrist. "You aren't going," he said with finality. "So cute," Alek said sarcastically. "But yes she is."
"Don't you start telling me what to do." Susannah said, trying to get out of his arms.
Jacob didn't let go. "I'm not going to let you go," he said. Alek was able to touch Susannah's arm and cast the spell. "Come on Susannah," he said. "We have to go now."
Susannah stopped fighting and clutched Jacob tightly. "No, no, no." she said, burring her face in his chest. "Don't do that! I don't want to love you, or feel some kind of loyalty to you!" she said to Alek even though she wasn't looking at him.
Alek snarled and looked at Jacob. "What did you do?" He hissed. "I didn't do anything," Jacob said smirking and holding Susannah closely. Then he turned his attention to Susannah. "It's okay," he said gently kissing the top of her head. "You don't have to go with him if you don't want to."
"It's not that." Susannah said. "I'll go with him if it means you won't get hurt, but I don't want to feel like I did last time. I don't want to feel like I love him when that couldn't be further from the truth."
"I wouldn't have to if you would just come," Alek said."She isn't going with you," Jacob said.
