Susannah's first thought was that it was a good idea, but since it'd come from Alek, she just shrugged, not trusting any of his ideas.

"Fine," Alek said then stared at here relentlessly, never blinking because he didn't physically have to.
A blush rose to Susannah's face, and she pulled her knees up, hiding her face both in her knees and with her hair so she wouldn't have to see him.
"Oh come on now you're just being difficult. You can either swim with me or I can get to look you."
"Because I said," Alek said. "An you don't want to end up back under the spell."
Susannah sighed, and got up, and got in the water.
"Aww," Alek pouted. "I was hoping you would decided to stay out of the water."
"Sucks for you." Susannah said sarcastically.
"Now what happened to pretending to feel the way Rebecca thinks she does?" Alek asked putting his hand on her hips and pulling her to him.
"Well now you remember," Alek said, his lips brushing against her jaw.
Susannah just nodded, trying not to seem too repulsed.
"You're not a very good actress," Alek mumbled against the side of her neck.
"I never claimed to be. Though I'm not really trying right now." Susannah said.
"Well you should be," Alek said kissing the crook of her neck.
Susannah took a deep breath to brace herself, then tried to keep an image of Jacob - the only reason she was letting Alek get so close to her - in her mind, then she moaned softly, as if she liked it.
"Not bad," Alek commented, pulling away, "I was close to believing that. Now we can keep swimming for awhile and then when Rebecca gets back we can get to your training."Rebecca had torn Christian's room apart and not found what she was looking for.
"Yeah?" Christian said, coming up to his room from the kitchen.
"Where are the books on firestarters?" Rebecca said. "I need them now."
"Because Alek is taking over Susannah's training and he asked for them," Rebecca said.
"I don't know who this Alek is." Christian said. "But I'm not supposed to let anyone who's not a shadow spinner or a firestarter to have the books."
"Well Susannah will be with Alek now can I have me the books," Rebecca said.
"No. You can't. I don't know who Alek is, so I don't trust him." Christian said.
"He's a warlock and he's going to train Susannah because he said that she wasn't getting enough training from you," Rebecca said. "Now please give me the books so that I can go."
Christian thought about it for a second. ". . .I don't know, Rebecca. . ." he said.
"Come on I've got to go," Rebecca said, "Alek's waiting."
"I don't think I want to give htem to you." Christian said. "If this Alek knows what he's doing, he should have his own books."
Rebecca was getting upset and her eyes darkened automatically. "Would you just give the freaking books already," she snapped.
"No." Christian said. "You messed up my room."
Rebecca waved her hand and everything went back to as it was. "Now?" She asked annoyed.
"Give it too me," Rebecca said angrily.
"You can either give them to me," Rebecca said, "or I can make you."
"Make me? And how do you intend to do that?" Christian challenged.
Rebecca glared and the window shattered. "Give me the books," she said her hands lighting on fire.
"I don't see how hurting me will get the books. If I die, you can't find them, if I scream myself hoarse, I won't be able to tell you. Nothing but asking really, really nicely will really go in your favor." Christian said.
Rebecca put out the fire and put the window back. She glared for a second longer then smiled. "Christian, can I pretty please with cherries on top have the books so that Susannah can train with Alek."
"Sure." Christian said. "They're on the bookshelf, and he waved his hand, moving some shadows that had kept the books hidden from plain sight.
"Thank you," Rebecca said going and getting the books.
"Bye," Rebecca said leaving with the books. {{srry I fell asleep}}
Alek swam up to Susannah and put his hands on her shoulders. "What would you do," he asked putting his lips against her neck, "if I bit you right now?"
"Scream? Attempt to fry you?" Susannah said.
"I don't doubt the screaming but don't you think the venom will make the frying a bit hard?" Alek asked and brushed his teeth against her neck.
