Susannah kissed him just as hungrily, pulling him close to her.

Jacob put his hands on her hips and deepened the kiss.
Susannah wrapped her arms around his neck tightly.
A shudder rolled through Jacob and he pulled away for minute to calm down a little.
"I love you." Susannah said, a hand gently running down the side of his face.
"I love you too," Jacob said taking a deep breath to steady his heart which was thundering in his chest.
The hand that had touched his face went down to his chest and paused so Susannah could feel his heart beat.
Jacob's heart beat started to slow until it reached it's normal pace.
Jacob nodded. "I'm fine," he said.
Jacob kissed the top of her head and rolled off of her onto his back next to her.
Jacob wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. "You should get some sleep if you're gonna help me fight Alek tomorrw," he said.
Susannah yawned, "Alright." she said, relaxing into his arms.
Jacob closed his eyes and eventually fell asleep as well.
Jacob woke up several times during the night and tried to calm her down without waking her up.
Susannah woke up early, tired of trying to sleep.
At one in the morning Alek showed up with Rebecca at his side. "Good morning hun," he said quietly.Jacob hadn't woken up yet though he was beginning to stir.
"We should go before he wakes up, makes a scene, and ultimately dies in his misguided attempts to keep you from me," Alek said holding his and out to Susannah.
((G2G. Might be back later))"I promised him I wouldn't." Susannah protested quietly, not wanting to wake Jacob.
"And who's going to stop me from just taking you before he wakes?" Alek asked grabbing her wrist and pulling her into his arms.Jacob stirred, on the verge of waking.
"Just don't wake him up." Susannah said.
"I won't," Alek said, but it was too late because as he said it Jacob woke up. In an instant he was on his feet and grabbing Susannah out of Alek's grip.
Susannah went to Jacob's side without protest.
"If you don't mind I think we should take this outside," Jacob said flattly, shoving passed Alek, his arm around Susannah's waist."Not at all," Alek said he and Rebecca following.
When they were alittle ways into the wood Jacob turned to face Alek. "You can have her," he said."I can have whatever I want," Alek said, "and I want her."
"Um, excuse me." Susannah said. "But I'm not a thing to be had."
"Of course you are," Alek said condesendingly to Susannah."Watch it," Jacob snarled starting to tremble slightly.
"I have to disagree." Susannah said.
"I don't care," Alek said. "You are what I say."Jacob growled and took a step away from Susannah so that he could shift without hurting her.
Before Jacob could shift Rebecca froze him and Alek grabbed him and took his ability to shift from him. Rebecca realesed him and he swayed on his feet then fell to his knees.
Susannah rushed to his side, and kneeled down beside him to make sure he was alright.
Rebecca grabbed Susannah and pulled her away from him. Alek kicked Jacob in the chest.
Jacob screamed as several ribs snapped.
"No!" Susannah said when she heard the snaps and his scream, and she lunged forward to go to him, but couldn't get out of Rebecca's grasp. Her hair set on fire as she continued to struggle against Rebecca.
Rebecca forgot for a moment that the flames posed no threat to her and dropped Susannah when her hair lit.
Susannah rushed back to Jacob's side. "Are you alright? How bad are you hurt?" she asked him.
"Bad," Jacob choked breathlessly.
"What can I do to help you?" Susannah asked desperately.
Jacob shook his head. Alek pulled her to him and wrapped his arm around her tightly. "Say bye bye," he hissed in her ear.
Susannah struggled against his hold.
Alek held her tighter. "You should have dealt with this sooner," he said. Then he knocked Jacob onto his back and stepped on his throat.
"Don't hurt him!" Susannah shouted angrily, and mentally threw a fire ball straight at Alek's head, her aim perfect.
Alek hissed as the flames hit. He took his foot off of Jacob's throat inorder to turn attention to Susannah. "How dare you," he growled as he slapped her.
Susannah's head whipped to the side, but she didn't make any other acknowledgement that she'd felt it. "How dare I?" she hissed at him. "How dare you. You can drag me around, talk like I'm not there, and make me do things I don't want to. But you cannot hurt him and expect me not to use the very things you taught me against you."
"That is exactly what I expect when I give warning as to what will happen if I am disobeyed," Alek said. "Don't you dare hit her," Jacob said weakly once he thought he could speak. He was trying to get off the ground but wasn't having much success.
"Jacob, please don't move. Pretty please, I don't want you to hurt yourself more. Without your wolf powers, you'll probably take a lot longer to heal." Susannah said, though she didn't take her eyes off Alek for a second.
Jacob abruptly stopped trying to get up. Alek looked down at Jacob. "And whose going to stop me?" He challanged slapping her again which made Jacob try to get up again.
