BJ -- I always wanted to ask about Death By Sudoku. What exactly does a Sudoku mystery mean? I know about the logic puzzle, but how do they work it into a story ? :) Curiousity killed the
FlibBity,I like to work the Sudoku puzzles - altho I admit to extreme frustration at times and go to the electronic game that lets you know if your guess is incorrect (Yeh! it's cheating!!). This book has clues and sample sudoku puzzles (with a solution key at the end), so if I get really frustrated I can sneak-a-peek for a little help.
BUT to answer your question, the heroine of the story creates sudoku puzzles & writes a column for her local newspaper. The story starts with her participation in a sudoku competition, and one of the contestants is killed that night. She, of course, gets drawn into the search for whodunit. It's a cute cozy mystery.

Hi Cherra:southpaw--what do you think about the Luxe series?
Sorry, I'm running a little behind on checking posts. I really am enjoying the "Luxe" series. I stumbled on it by way of the "Pick-it-for-Me" Challenge one month. Shanna recommeded it to me.
I love the location and the time period in which it is set...New York City, 1899.
I also plan to read Envy for this challenge as well.
Have you read any of the series? If so, what did you think?

No worries...I have had this series on my TBR list for a while and I have been putting it off because I had so many other good books to read. I was just curious what you thought about it--it has gotten pretty good reviews. I will order it from the library and read it to give myself a break from all the PNR and UF I tend to read so much of lately.
