It's been a long time since I've answered the question posed in this thread so I thought I would update my answers:

Prince Valiant vol 13
Stuff I plan to buy someday:
Death of Superman omnibus
Criminal Deluxe vol 1 and 2

Alistair wrote: "Criminal deluxe is epic!"Indeed... but i can say that "Gotham Central" doesn't fall much behind. :)
I would like to see a Astro City Absolute Manifest Destiny OHC from Image
Letter 44 OHC from Oni Press
Namor by John Byrne Omnibus from Marvel

An OHC of World War Hulk
Allstar Superman Deluxe (I just don't care for the size of Absolute)
To Expensive & OOP:Captain Britain Omnibus
Annihilation Omnibus
FF by Hickman Omnibus 1
New Teen Titans Omnibus 1 & 2
Stuff I hope get OHC treatment:
Astro City by Busiek
Animal Man by Lemire
Superman by Byrne
Excalibur by Claremont
New Mutants by Claremont
Miracleman by Alan Moore
The Autumnlands by Busiek
I second luther strode ohcAlso I am in for Astro city, but since there are so many volmes I think it will be served well as omnibi
An Astro City Omnibus is long overdue, although I've been buying the hardcovers since they moved to Vertigo. I suspect that 1) the series is drawing to a close soon and 2) that once it is done we'll see some type of larger collection, most likely an omnibus.
Too Expensive & OOP
Silver Surfer V1 Omnibus
Annihilation Omnibus
Simonson Thor Omnibus
Hope to See Collected
Miracleman by Moore (I think this will happen once Gaiman finishes the new stuff.)
Amazing Spider-Man V3 Omnibus
Too Expensive & OOP

Annihilation Omnibus
Simonson Thor Omnibus
Hope to See Collected
Miracleman by Moore (I think this will happen once Gaiman finishes the new stuff.)
Amazing Spider-Man V3 Omnibus

I believe the creative team on Manifest Destiny stated they would not be doing an oversize HC. The explanatory statement I saw was that the art didn't need oversize treatment.
I would be in for either an Absolute or omnibus for Astro city. Either way I would expect more than one volume. I've read some of the material and it's good stuff.

There is an OHC for World War Hulk. I'm pretty sure I have a copy. It wasn't as good as Planet Hulk but it was a fun read.
I would not be surprised to see an All-Star Superman DLX eventually.

If there is a WWH OHC then it is OOP and crazy expensive. Its my favorite Hulk book so far though but Im just not quite willing to shell out too much for that.

It looks like the cheapest one on Amazon is $49.99, but nice copies are closer to $100. My Amazon order shows I paid $24 for mine when it was released. If you watch Ebay you may be able to get one at a decent price.

As a kid I read Tintin, Garfield, The Beano, The Dandy, Calvin and Hobbes and even Judge Dredd. I left comics as a teenager and focuses on animated movies and to shows. As an adult I was introduced back into comics with Batman the dark knight and lots of other DC titles. I was comfortable, but then I was handed Daredevil by Brain Michael Bendis, mind blown. Another universe opened up to me, I was in heaven. Then I discovered vertigo and dark horse, but nothing blew me away. Then I discovered the image comics app, my mind was opened once again, hundreds of indie comics to drool over.Today I discovered the SEQUENTIAL app. Mind blown again!!! So much choice. I'm "gonna need a bigger boat!". :D
@Alistair, which are these apps you are talking about. I could not find an Image comics or sequential app in the google play store:(

If you don't have The Complete Calvin and Hobbes slip-cased HC set I recommend it. :)

I want a Complete Herman Slip-Case. If you've never read Herman it makes me laugh. :)

I don't have a personal computer/tablet and my phone is old and slow so online comic reading options don't really work for me right now. :)

I use it more for browsing than anything else. Below is the website if you wanna browse.http://www.sequential.cc/
Apparently Hellboy Library Edition #5 is out of stock everywhere now, so that's going on my most wanted list. I was working my way up to 5 but didn't get there in time. Hopefully it'll be reprinted soon.
I want reprints of the first three Brubaker omnis so i can get them for a reasonable price! And the michelinie Spiderman! (That's 4 :D )

Also there is this nice European site, which i think sends over to the US also:

I would very much like to see reprints of the following omnibus: Punisher Max, Daredevil (Bendis/Maleev) and Captain America (Brubaker). The omnibus I'm patiently waiting to come, and most definitely will pick up, is the Snyder/Capullo Batman run.
My top three from various companies are:Marvel:
Thor God of Thunder Omnibus
Silver surfer (Slott/Alred)
Earth X
(Honorable mention: Indiana Jones reissues)
DC:
Batman (Snyder/Cappulo)
Saga of the Swamp Thing (Alan Moore)
Jack Kirby omnibus reprints
Misc:
I would live to see an Omnibus of Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics, Reinventing Comics, and Making Comics.
Interesting list. I think I would pick up a swamp thing omnibus by Moore. While not my favorite I would like to have it to complete my Moore collection.
Guys there are so many new marvel hardcovers I can't get them all, so which ones should I get?Mighty Thor (Jason Aaron)
Amazing Spider-man worldwide
All New x-men (Brian Michael Bendis)
Invincible Iron Man (Brian Michael Bendis)
New Avengers (Joanthan Hickman)
Uncanny X-men (Brian Michael Bendis)
And probably more I can't remember
Thanks guys!
New Avengers is awesome. Just know it ties into Avengers then Avengers Time Runs Out then Secret Wars.
I recommend picking up the oversize HCs (No Bendis Iron Man yet, New Spider-man has a solicited OHC IIRC). Aaron's Thor has two volumes with a third (vol 1 again starring the female version) and is good stuff. New Avengers/Avengers by Hickman is excellent.
One series with five OHCs out that has a lot of love from many people is Waid's Daredevil. It is getting an omnibus in the future for the first half(ish) of the run but the whole run is available right now in OHC.

The last question I have now is uncanny x-men by Bendis or all new x-men by Bendis? Thanks!
Bendis X-Men is ok (same for his Guardians of the Galaxy). I'd shoot for finding Wolverine and the X-Men Omnibus over picking up Bendis X-Men though.

Hey guys I feel like buying a series I know hardly anything about and my gut is telling me to get the sin city omnibus. Is my gut right?
Your gut has tremendous taste. Congrats man! From now on, your gut should make all of your life decisions for you.
Big Damn Sin City is like a art book... seeing those B&W Frank Miller drawings in a Absolute size, its breathtaking!
Hey guysI'm new in This group and just wanted to share with you my picks.
Im Danish, so please mind my english gramma. :)
My "White whales" so to speak (expensive/OOP)
X-men inferno
Absolute blackest Night
Annihilation omnibus
I would love to get the Uncanny x-force omni and the astonishing x-men omni as Well but i Got the complete collection trades. So Those would be my "going to Pick up someday".
Wolverine and the x-men is one of those i would like to own one Day as well, but am fine without for now.
All 3 could have been in the to expensive/OOP list i guess :)
My going to but next Will probably be,
JL darkseid war pt 2 HC
The Uncanny x-men vol 2 omni that is being reprinted This month
And Thor god of thunder 1 & 2 OHC

I can relate to your "whales" but i've been managing to "kill them" through ebay and amazon marketplace. It's just a matter of patience and some money (for example, i was able to buy Inferno just a couple of weeks ago for around 160€, while the usual asking price is like 300€)
