This was a lovely surprise. I had never heard of this book. But it is everything I want in a romantasy: a heart warming romance, thrilling action and conflict, the conflict doesn't get dragged out for too long but there's enough of it for you to feel the yearning AND a strong violent MMC that just worships the FMC.

I love everything that has to do with mythology and Gods. And when I heard I should read this because of my love for Percy Jackson, I jumped all over it. The issue is that I didn't really like the FMC. I tried to, but most of the time I didn't. And the worldbuilding wasn't as good as it should have been. However, Hades was magnificent. He made it worth it in the end.

I really, really wanted to love this book. I liked the FMC enough, and the other characters weren't dull by any means, but her writing style irked me from beginning to end. I just couldn't get past it. I'm not sure if I'll read anything by her again. It's hard to say.

I loved every bit of this book. It was witty, heart warming, funny while also touching very sensible subjects.

I usually love ALL the books in this series. They've all landed, I believe, between 4 and 5 ⭐️'s. This one was a lot of fun and felt a little more twisty and exciting than previous ones.
Thanks. I got frustrated last month because I didn’t hit my goal and I was wasting a lot of time on my phone so I’m trying to do better this month. My problem is always the time in between reads I’m a mood reader and I spend too much time thinking about what to read next.

I so loved this book! A badass mc and an adventurous with a bit of action packed romantasy! The trope is troping and plot is good! Will definitely continue this series.
