**Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count only! If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. Ebook page count will be acceptable if no Kindle page count available. The acceptability of other page counts will be made on an individual basis.**

I think most of you know each other, at least a little, but feel free to introduce yourself again. Please give any relevant information, especially time zone as that helps know when it is best to communicate. 😊Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though. I will use the team leader as a point of contact if needed.
Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.
PS - If you want to be known as anything other than Team 14, you are free to come up with a team name. 😉
You are going be a team of three rather than 4 and tasks will be adjusted as needed. (Tasks that require a total number of books or pages for the team mostly.) Oh, also! I'm Kathryn. I'm 34 and I'm in California. I'm an aspiring author, so when I'm not reading I'm writing. I'm excited to do this together.I read a little of everything, but romantasy, dark romance, monster romance, contemporary, fantasy, and historical fiction hold my heart.
First Task - All Teams!Task 1 - 0. Read a book celebrating October 1st.
This round begins on October 1st. October 1st has much historical significance. In 1890, Yosemite National Part was established. In 1903, the first game of the modern World Series was played. In 1908, the Ford Model T went on sale. And my personal favorite, in 1971 Walt Disney World, ‘The Most Magical Place on Earth’, opened. But I had to narrow the choices down so… In honor of the first game of the World series being played in 1903, read a book that is MPG Sports. This can be a specific sport such as ‘hockey’ or ‘baseball’, or the generic ‘sports’, but either MUST be MPG. OR In honor of the Walt Disney World opening in 1971, read a book that is MPG Magic or MPG Fantasy. Teams decide between the two options.
So, we need to choose together whether we want to do Sports or Magic/Fantasy.Also, we need to settle on a name.
I'm good with Fated Three. Maybe we do fantasy since we have it in common? What do you think?

I'm reading an ARC right now, and need to wrap that up, but I think I'm going to pick something Autumn themed for this first task. I'm not quite sure which book yet, but I want to read as many seasonal themed books as I can this month.
Who do we want to lead the team? I've done this a few times, but am totally open to handing the reins over to someone else if they'd like to do it! (Inches toward the door) LOL
I've played this one too. But can't commit being a leader. You can do it if its okay with you. oh loved your plan on reading seasonal books.

The book is beautifully written, and cares you throughout all the characters emotions. But it’s a sad story really, I fell bad for her to live with such a horrible being and so much trauma all the time. I wished for a just a single truly happy moment where she was loved and cared for the way she deserved. In the end she came true for herself.

Beautifully written epic fantasy. It’s a big old hunk of a book but the world building is extensive and feels truly immersive. Worth the investment of your time.

This book should have been a FULL LENGTH novel. That is my only complaint. It was beautiful. The characters were electric, the worldbuilding was phenomenal, and I could have read 900 pages of this and been overjoyed about it.

I think I'm the odd one out on this one. Most of the reviews were four to five ⭐️'s. I can't wrap my head around that one. I love a good masked man, especially the prospect of three, but this was just terrible. The first chase scene seemed to last half a second and wasn't exciting at all. The spicy bits felt...forced. Honestly, my life was better before this book. LOL
No rush! Take your time. xDJust wanted to remind you two to really, really make sure you have the first edition Kindle page count in your final post. That way we get our next task ASAP. <3

I was not expecting to love it as much as I did. The romance is so lovely it melts your heart. The scenery is beautiful, whimsical. The sides characters are also funny and interesting and the mystery in the book definitely took me by surprise and made it all the more special. A spooky season must read if I may

This book was pretty damn good. It isn't my usual type of genre, but I wanted to give it a go because friends kept talking about it. It was fascinating and hilarious all at the same time. I definitely would continue this series.

It's honestly a bummer when you run a group that works so well, and tons of people are having fun, but then people decide they want to come troll and cause chaos. Not fun as an admin of a group to put up with that stuff. She doesn't get paid. LOL
