I am a woman. Biologically, emotionally, and existentially. It’s not something I spend much time thinking about—I find gender discussions rather unproductive unless there’s a form to fill in.

Theresa wrote: "What is the business where you work with numbers and forms?"I work in the accounts department of a graphic design firm. The firm itself is modern—lots of trendy fonts, open-plan layouts, people who say things like “ideate” and “circle back.” I don’t concern myself with the design side. I sit at my desk, handle invoices, process payments, and ensure financial accuracy. It's quiet, mostly. Suits me perfectly.
Theresa wrote: "Where in the world is it located?"The firm is located in Glasgow, Scotland. I live there as well—in a small flat, sufficient for one. I take the same bus to and from work every day, five days a week. Routine is essential. It keeps things orderly, manageable... predictable.
Yall are just too good. I thought that one would be a little more difficult. Yall got a classic character, a book/movie character, and a recent character.
If we do this in the future, I might have to choose a supporting character.

I still had no idea, even though I glimpsed at Algernon's guess behind spoiler! Clearly it is not a book I've read or even looked at to consider reading (like read the summary). Could you at some point please post the title? You can do behind spoilers.

Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine
I like Title Mash-up. Put together titles to make a sentence or question and answer. There is no guessing or winners, just creativity.Examples:
Who Will Remember The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared Lost in the Never Woods?
Things I Don't Want to Know - How Not to Drown in a Glass of Water, How to Solve Your Own Murder, How to Stop Time
You Are A Writer When in Rome Surfacing In the Ocean of Night.
Those are ok but I'm sure you can come up with better ones.
This looks like fun, Robin. I am going to give it a go tomorrow when I have more time and am not so tired

And the Mountains Echoed,
And the Birds Rained Down.

Joy D wrote: "Nice, Karin. I am finding that the books I have shelved are light on verbs!"Thanks!
I cheated a bit for some of the verbs and freely looked up a few lines; didn't always work, of course, but it's that wannabe novelist in me trying to break out ;). However, some of the verbs and most of the non-verb ones are from my shelves (Put Me in the Zoo and The Collapsing Empire, for example.)
I have a few verb titles from my shelves I want to use next time if this game is still going, but my timer is ringing; time to get offline.
