Hmmmm, I’m debating which genre to read for that. Kind of been feeling a good old fashioned historical romance. But a historical mystery sounds fun!

message 137: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 3764 comments Hahahaha... typically, I'm reading a whole heap of historical non-fiction for BQ this month 😆

I can squeeze something in, but may be a couple of weeks!

message 138: by Teddie (new)

Teddie (teddieg) | 992 comments I picked a time travel book with a decent page count, but I'm wavering on my choice a bit - with the political climate and chaos going on in the US right now, not sure whether this is the greatest time to read that one.

I was looking at your book because I was curious and I had a similar thought to you as I read the synopsis. I was like, "Nope, not today, Satan."

So, it's either a fun romance or murder for me! The antidotes to real life, hehe.

lol - yeah ... I think I'm going to switch to Replay or Between Two Fires - I've got to hit that medievalish era for another task to replace 1632 lol.

The Archer's Tale it is! lol

They should be. Maybe they need some educating...

My husband and I used to make lots of Sharpe references the kids didn't get, so we sat them down and did a Sharpe movie marathon with them. They shall become cutured, whether they like it or not! 😂
