Who's keeping track of the adding up?

No, we're a friendly bunch here!
No, we're a friendly bunch here!
The average book length is a bit over 300 pages, and it looks pretty much like people are adding from very short to very long books, so the average is probably working out.All things being equal, you need ~3300 contributions to get to a million pages. Some are putting in more than 1 book, which'll bring it down a bit.
Here are some of the (really) big questions:
Will we make it?
How recent is "recently" in terms of reading a classic?
What defines a "classic"?
Is it ok for someone to list more than 1 book - or does that set up some sort of unsolvable ethical dilemma?
I have lots more questions but will leave it at that and finish with:
Does anyone care that I'm asking these questions?....No, I didn't think so.

Will we make it? Doubtful. We almost made a Million last year!
How recent is "recently" in terms of reading a classic? It's a yearly challenge. Anything read this year.
What defines a "classic"? As Rosemarie stated it is detailed answer and in our Fundamentals

Is it ok for someone to list more than 1 book - or does that set up some sort of unsolvable ethical dilemma? No a lot of our Members read classics but not the ones we have in our group reads. I send out reminders as a group message when we are running behind in our challenge as some actually forget this is one or our challenges. It is what you have read this entire year. That could explain the mutliple listings.
Your more than welcome to keep asking questions in Rosemarie's I have a question thread:

Lol that is funny!
We do not critique you on your math skills, if it is not a classic read or typing for that matter. Most regular members double check our additions. Ive been off by transposition plenty of times.
Anyone can make an honest mistake.
