There are some interesting AI books out there now. This is biography/history, but I'd recommend (it made my top 10, or really 9, this year):
Supremacy: AI, ChatGPT, and the Race that Will Change the World by Parmy Olson
ETA: There is also an older one, with some humor (still nonfiction, though): You Look Like a Thing and I Love You: How Artificial Intelligence Works and Why It's Making the World a Weirder Place

If you are into art, rare books, or gems, there are some really good heist books. Off the top of my head: Artful Deception, Stealing Rembrandts: The Untold Stories of Notorious Art Heists, The Man Who Loved Books Too Much: The True Story of a Thief, a Detective, and a World of Literary Obsession, Flawless: Inside the Largest Diamond Heist in History, and Priceless: How I Went Undercover to Rescue the World's Stolen Treasures, and one on my list: A Gentleman and a Thief: The Daring Jewel Heists of a Jazz Age Rogue. Betcha can’t guess what my Deep Dive topic was one year!
If I were to recommend one I think you would like, it would be Flawless: Inside the Largest Diamond Heist in History. One of the main players is the guy who wrote Blood Diamonds: Tracing the Deadly Path of the World's Most Precious Stones, another crazy good book (but I digress). Flawless is stellar narrative nonfiction, fast paced, engaging, reads like you are there. Lots of history and science about diamonds, as well as the heist.
