#2 "Go at Your Own Pace: Feeling ambitious? Read ahead! Need to take your time? That’s okay too. The challenge is flexible to fit your schedule. You can complete the prompts in any order too. "
So we can complete more than one prompt a month and we can do the prompts in any order - correct?

It is easier for me to list them now and then follow the list, than to try monthly to come up with a book. Not that I might not change a few, but at least I have a somewhat static guide to go by.

No not necessary but sharing what you are reading for a particular prompt may be motivating to others to pick up the same book and will help keep the challenge active.
