The Bonus Point System has been revamped this year, offering new point values and additional ways to earn bonuses. All calculations will be done automatically on your spreadsheet. Here's a comprehensive breakdown of how you can increase your points:
🎁 Bonus Page Points: 🎁
⏰Timed Bonus Tasks
1. Winner's Midway Bonus Task:
• Designed by the 2024 Impossible Challenge Winner
• Released midway through the challenge
• Worth PAGE POINTS
• Must be completed within the allocated time period
2. Monthly Bonus Tasks:
• Released at the start of each month
• Worth PAGE POINTS
• Must be completed within the allocated time period
3. Quarterly Bonus Tasks:
• Released at the start of each quarter
• Worth PAGE POINTS
• Must be completed within the allocated time period
🎁 Bonus Points: 🎁
📚 Reading Activities
1. HOB Formal Buddy Reads: 10 bonus points
• Match a task to an HOB Formal Buddy Read book (including the Series Buddy Read!)
• Read and participate in the HOB Formal Buddy Read discussion
2. Informal Buddy Reads: 2 bonus points
• Sign up with a buddy
• Read and participate in the discussion
📅 Time-Limited Challenges
1. Monthly Challenge: 2 bonus points per book
• Complete books within the section associated with each month
• Automatically added and deactivated on your sheet
• Bonus points no longer available after the month ends
2. Quarterly Challenge: 2 bonus points per book
• Complete books within the section associated with each quarter
• Automatically added and deactivated on your sheet
• Bonus points no longer available after the quarter ends
♻️ No Duplication Bonuses:
• 5 points per section for not duplicating a book within that section
• Additional 20 points for not duplicating any book in the entire challenge
• Can be claimed even if a section is not completed
• Total possible points: 80
Remember, all bonuses will be calculated automatically on your spreadsheet, making it easier for you to track your progress throughout the challenge.

🚀Rereads DO count for this challenge BUT must have been read more than a year ago.
🚀Each book can be used TWICE to complete the challenge if desired, but you can also complete the challenge without repeating the books. There are bonus points for not duplicating your books.
🚀 The challenge offers flexibility in completion: You're free to tackle tasks in any order you prefer. There's no obligation to finish a section within a month. However, aligning certain tasks with specific timeframes can earn you bonus points.
🚀Follow your own time zone. If you finish the book between the challenge dates in your time zone, it counts.
Spell Out Rules:
🪐Use the FIRST letter of the FIRST word in the Title of the Book or Series.
🪐Use the FIRST letter in the author's first or last name.
Task Rules:
You must be able to justify how your book fits the prompt. Creativity is encouraged, but please hold to the task/prompt.
⭐Cover Color must be more than 50% (https://labs.tineye.com/color/)
⭐List page number, percentage, or chapter for word in text
⭐MPG is "Main Page Genre", and is what is shown on the front of the GR book page
⭐To justify a Cover Item, make sure you link the edition you read
⭐Short explanation for other tasks for proof of task completion
