every plum i've ever seen has those colours.

Our last property purchased was $420 and the turn before that had us paying rent to another team for $60. That used up almost all the money we banked from our last salary deposit.

I'm just happy we didn't land on something that cost us a fine that we couldn't pay. We'd have to mortgage our properties to pay. If we couldn't raise enough we'd declare bankruptcy and we'd be out of the game.
Hopefully someone will land on one of our properties soon

Are we penalized if we estimated our monthly reading total? I didn't know anything about how this game worked when signing up, so I underestimated my count in case there were more specific tasks we had to fill. If we do get penalized, I'll log my books more strategically in the future instead of logging each title.
